Well, unless your dad is a General or Master Falconer, he can not have those birds. You also can not legally posess a falcon as an apprentice yet. Federal laws just changed in Nov. 2008, but state laws have not changed yet. You get a red-tail hawk or an American Kestral falcon as an apprentice.
You should check out the local fish, game and/or wildlife departments. I filmed and edited the sequence, but I haven't a great amount of knowledge on the subject

Two things. 1. You should cope that beak because it's horribly long. 2. Flying a bird to the fist is bird keeping not falconry!

14, but the federal law just lowered it to 12, so unless your state has adopted the federal laws yet, you need to be 14
