  • Aloha! I just came back from Oahu, I heard this song while driving along the north shore with gorgeous scenery. Let's me tell you, the feeling was indescribable. Will definitely visit again if I have a chance. Recommend Hawaii to all who have's been there yet and to those who have.also :)

  • I've never been to Hawaii, but my uncle lives there, and he says it is gorgeous. I hope to go and visit him and the islands someday.

  • I want to cry. I went to Hawai'i in May and June in the same trip. M28-J5. Then I just went again November 22-27. I miss it more than ever. I also went to Honolulu in '09. I can't forget the time I went when I was little. Now Hawai'i is a second home to me and I think about it every day in class. I want to cry but I can't. I'd be righting my name on my paper and I'd see the scratch on my other hand that I inhereted while surfing on Waikiki.

  • 2:15 now that is what I call flexibility.

  • my g-daughter is looking at me crying.... so very hard to put into words cause she's raised in Cali and i'm here in Vegas.....

  • I left my heart in the island. I am just so sad...so sad. I will see you again

  • The islands reminds me so much of my childhood way back in the Philippine islands. The tide pools, the ocean breeze, the coconuts. But I feel so much at home in Kauai. I visited Kauai for the third time and it's always so sad leave each time. I feel so strong that the island is calling me. I love nature and I love to protect them. I miss you Kauai, I want to take care of you.

  • This our 3rd time to visit Kauai. We just came back from Kauai the night of Nov.13 2011. While I was there on the first day of our vacation I have the feeling of sadness already because I know the day will come that I'll have to leave the island. I couldn't help my self to enjoy the full beauty of Kauai as the day approaching for departure. Even though this is our third time to visit Kauai each time is like my first time. When I heard this song on our second day some tears fell on my cheek......

  • AND, I MISS MY HAWAI'I!

  • ALOHA, JIM AND GAIL OF THE COMMANDER'S BEACHHOUSE, PORT TOWNSEND, WA

  • this morning, this song was on the radio, and i've been crying and not able to do anything productive since. it's killing me, i'm crying my eyeballs out about the shores of waianae.

  • @drushhhh Awe...I will extend love to you...and I know others will too. So, go ahead and cry, because it's not always bad to cry, but don't feel like you cry all alone, others are with you in spirit....even in the Aloha spirit.

    Me ka aloha.

  • Lived only 3 and a half years in Aiea. Miss being out there so need to get back.

  • I fucking miss Oahu!!!!!!! Fucking in Hong Kong. Fucking sucks compared to home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Of all of Na Leo's songs, this one is my favorite. Mind, I couldn't ever imagine crying over any songs about Cleveland, Ohio where I was actually born and raised lol, but this song about, Hawaii, a place where I've not even been yet except for in my dreams? OMG, I could hardly stop crying when I heard it because it was so beautiful, and has such a unique way of touching one's heart and emotions. Now this song makes want to visit Hawaii even more, and Lord willing I will go sometime very soon!

  • The very first comment pretty much sums up my feeling for Hawaii. I miss my Hawaii but work and other responsibilities keep putting me further away from Hawaii. I sincerely miss my friends and colleagues in Hawaii. As hard as it is, I just have to say no and leave behind my paradise.

  • Beautiful! My sweetheart lives in Pearl City and this makes me miss her that much more...

  • This song even touches the hearts of those who have never been to Hawai'i. I had a former roommate who introduced me to this. The song makes me tear up and I've never had the privilege of being on the islands.

  • I always get emotional every time I hear this song...I miss home so bad, ....my home, my, Hawai'i... :(

  • I miss my True Home..... Hawaii......

On those tours, I've stopped over many states in the mainland, many other countries, but none of them can compare to the place I was raised up in. This song makes me cry every time I hear it when I'm away. It makes me miss my home so much. I'm out of the military now. Guess where I'm at now. I'm back to my home. My one true home.
