The inevitable change. The microprocessor has become something we can no longer do without. Just a simple small business spreadsheet in Excel was something that would take weeks to prepare in 1976. Which is why most businesses prepared reports only quarterly. The tradition has stuck, even though a business knows its health up to the minute in our age. They only choose to release their figures quarterly and less because of the efforts require to compile them.
