I love JB he's a fresh spin on classic ET, GJ, BO, and MH. You guys who say he doesn't fit any molds need to come to grips with the fact that he's Country & Western despite throwing in some Hendrix, and Surf!

I think bassist and acoustician were local pickers (not sure if the bassist toured with Junior at the time, he's had another one before that time, and has yet another one today, touring with him since quite a while). The drummer must be Pete Amaral though, a FANTASTIC drummer who gets a lot more out of his one snare drum than many drummers get out of a whole kit.

Yeah, I´m not into this cowboy thing, but Junior Brown is absolutely amazing...great voice and great guitar playing. Really stunning. Should be on everybody´s list! As another fellow wrote, he defies categorization.
