  • I'm glad Dave Gibbons signed on to help with the movie. I'm disappointed that Alan Moore copped an attitude though. I have a lot of respect for the man and I love his work but he seems to hate having his work made into movies....and yet he takes the money and lets them do it.

Lighten up, Alan. We fans would have loved to have heard you on the DVD commentary...even if you didn't like the movie.

  • I like it that they kept the little guy reading the comic coz i liked the little segments of the comic where the guy turns into a mindless killer

  • dave gibbons rules. i love his work on beneath a steel sky

  • I didn't think anyone could make a faithful movie version of the Watchmen comic, but Snyder did a spectacular job. I actually thought it was just acceptable when I saw it in the theater, but the Director's Cut improved in immensely, IMHO. Several scenes just made a lot more sense, and made the characters more realistic (Hollis Mason's death, for instance).

  • well, at least 1 out of the two creators is happy with the movie... - _-;

  • the other guy didn't like it?

  • The least important one :P

  • dude, one half is the writer, the other half is the artist, the writer needs the artist to draw the panels, other wise it is just a script-in-delay, with no drawings to realize the writers dreams. And Dave gibbons wanted to make the movie because he wanted to get people to read Watchmen, rather than to just have it made as a generic movie.

  • I MET DAVE GIBBONS!!! got my copy of Watchmen signed by him in Glasgow, fuckin awesome artwork!!!

  • He got rid of the squid at the end, but IMO that was kind of a lame ending in the graphic novel. The changed ending is a bit more "realistic" in the Watchmen universe sense but it's understandable if the die hard fans get a little tiffed. But at least it wasn't a horrifyingly completely different change that ruined everything. The end result is exactly the same.

  • I haven't seen the movie yet, but from what I know the Earth united against Dr. Manhattan.

How the hell does this work? I mean, he's just invincible, he could make the Earth implode if he wanted to. >_>

  • just go see the movie :s

  • I've read the comic several times and loved it, but there's nothing I would like more, but I have to go in five days 'cause I want to go with friends. >_>

  • I did too and frankly I was concerned after hearing they changed the ending but I walked out of that movie in awe. I really loved it but in my opinion the comic is still the better of the two

  • The comic will always be better then the two - you'd never get the amount of detail shoen in the comics into a 20 hour series. The film is fantastic, but it will always be a companion to the grapic novel.

  • The ending in the novel was perfect for a novel. It had impact.

If wouldn't have been as ideal for the movie because it would probably have been made like the big monster you see in the end of Hellboy which was a overuse of computer animation.

The movie ending had similar impact as the novel and was pretty decent. I was chewing on my nails in the theater trying to convince myself the ending would be good. Which it was. :)

  • The ending doesn't make any god damn sense. It isn't even about the squid. Its that it only occurred in New York City. Why in fuck hell would USSR ally with US against a "common enemy"? The US would say that the USSR was possibly responsible for insane bio engineering or the USSR would take advantage of the situation and blow the fuck out of the US. It has to be shared misery. There should have been multiple squids that attacked multiple cities. One squid in NYC won't make the world join hands.

  • The ending in the book makes perfect sense. Why should the human kind continue to fight eachother when there's something else beyond their planet?

If they'd continue to fight then they'd be fucked.

The movie ending is the same. Since there's an explosion instead of a squid ,making them appear in multiple cities instead of just new york makes more sense. If it would be just 1 city then the USSR could say Dr.Manhattan joined with them and took revenge on the US ,yada yada...

  • Well, I don't know anything about the ending in the movie, but in the book it kinda implies that he does it to more places.

  • Wrong. It was only NYC.

  • They went to Antartica too

  • I was talking about where the SQUID attacked. It was only NYC

  • it made perfect sense

  • NO IT DIDN'T! It was a squid! In one place! It EASILY would have been confused as bio-engineering gone horribly wrong and not an alien life form.

  • That's funny.. Your right.. But it was dark, so that primary colors did stick out automactically when they do show them.. I loved the movie, but it was too long.. But worth it.. I recommend people to watch it..

  • What he said about the colours is a load of rubbish, Dr. Manhatten's blue, the smiley face is yellow, and all the blood is red. What's he going on about with the lack of primary colours?

  • Read the book. You'll see.

  • What is the opening song?

  • im on the 11 chapter in the graphic novel im hooked on this comic it is the best i have ever read

  • yeah i just got done with it and im gonna read it again and then buy the motion comic and then watch it. lol also i was gonna buy v for vendetta, also by alan moore.

  • can someone message me the fucking ending? not the movie, obviously, the book. I've only read issue one. i won't have time to finish btt the movie comes out.

  • download it from torrent, i read all 12 issues in two days.

  • Comment removed

  • Lol just read it.

  • Yeah, there's load of refrences to electric cars so it'll be intresting to see how they deal with it. I must say I also have one or two issues with the costumes... They look almost too posh in some places. Laurie has bare legs in the book, but I can see why they gave her boots, it looks like a development of the tights from the first silk spectre outfit, which is fair.

  • Kind of off subject but, i dont really like the new nite owl costume its way too similar to batman. also veidt, the actor looks nothing like him its retarded. however i think the actors for blake and rorschach are spot on.

  • What's with the normal period cars on the set? In the book they're all futuristic electric cars. I thought the point of the futuristic cars was meant to show that technology had been pushed forward by Dr Manhattan?

  • Good eye man it didnt even hit me that normal period cars would be out of place. Maybe they're gonna just say that they look the same but are actually more technologically advanced. I mean Bernie is sitting up against one of those hydrants the whole book so they have to say something about it

  • what you have in the end is: one man who wants to be a god, and one man who is a god

  • Plus...I think that since Alan moore is an avowed anarchist, he views the very phenomenon of individuals putting themselves in positions of power above everyone else as the very problem with humanity. Ozy's plan to fix humanity works (temporarily, as suggested) only because the paradigm of a few people lording over billions, and perpetuated by Ozy, is inherently a false one.

    Just my opinion.

But it is the singular genius of this piece.

  • Love your Shirtttt Bluntyyyy, tell me where you order it!!!!!!

  • whats the song playing in the beginning of the video? really nice

  • i am so excited i could pee my pants

  • Blunty how do you meet these people, the only way you could be luckier was if you had an interview with Alan Moore himself

  • Hey blunty,where did u get that awesome t-shirt?

I've been looking for it but can't find it anywhere

  • T'was a gift from a friend who went to comic-con. I don't think they're in regular shops or anything, sorry.

  • i dont like the actor choice for Ozy

  • I agree. Looks too much of a whimpy rich-boy deuschebag than a super-intelligent mastermind out to stop armageddon. From the shots I've seen so far it seems a little too obvious he's the bad guy.

  • Even in the book it was obvious that he was the bad guy. He was the rich idealist with a pet. But the main twist of the book isn't that he is bad but that he gets away with his actions.

  • How is he the bad guy? He saves the world!

  • Perhaps, but in the words of Dr. Manhattan: "Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."

  • he kills 3 million innocent people in an inefficient, stupid, and at best temporary solution to the escalating conflict. basically Alan Moore himself said that the captain in Tale Of The Black Freighter is an allegory to Veidt. Everything else Veidt builds and inspires besides the villainous plot is cool though.

  • I don't think there was anything inefficient or stupid about the plot. It might become jeopardized by Rorschach but Ozy saved the world by making a very difficult decision. Did it require him to become a monster? Absolutely. Is he aware of that? Is he wracked by doubt? Certainly but a nuclear Holocaust was almost inevitable. Dr. Manhattan ultimately agrees with Ozy. The morality is not clear-cut but that's the point. It demonstrates the limitations of R.'s black/white morality & love of Truman.

  • True. The comic book is great because of those things. I also like how the ending is left open to interpretation: do the newspaper guys read Rorschach's journal and let the secret out to the world or not? If they did I'd say Rorschach did help justice to be served in death. I wouldn't say that Veidt isn't the 'bad guy.' I guess I would call him an anti-villain in the same way that Rorschach is an anti-hero.

  • All that they would learn from Rorschach's diary is that they suspected Viedt of being Rorschach's mask killer, as Rorschach did not find out about the massacre plot until he got to Karnak so it's hard to say exactly what good if any The New Frontiersman reading/printing of his journal would have done if any. Besides, Veidt would have had to do the massacres more than once or else once many years passed and the world saw no new threats, old conflicts would re-emerge. "Nothing lasts forever."

  • People could have investigated and things could have been found out. Veidt is good at diposing of evidence, so it'd be difficult though.

  • I don't think it's that cut and dried. How else to explain Dr. M's line to Ozy "Nothing ever ends".

The problem isn't Rorschach's b&w thinking...it's the conditions created by those like Ozy that put themselves into positions of authority that CREATE armageddon-like problems...and absolutist, psychologically scarred people on the outside looking in like Rorschach. After all...Truman dropped the bomb ironically enough.

  • "Nothing ever ends" means that even the best of plans are not foolproof and thus require humility. I think that's something Ozy understands when he asks Dr. M if he did the right thing. Ozy's position is critical and questioning to the very end. He makes himself feel every death. He didn't create the Cold War scenario. He was simply the one who read the writing on the wall & saw that it was inevitable. So he prevented it from happening. R's love of Truman & rejection of Ozy is of course ironic.

  • I never thought of it like that. I would like to hear your thoughts on how Tale of the Black Freighter is an allegory to Veidt because I don't think I see where you are coming from on this.

  • I dunno. I was still a little surprised he ended up killing half new york in the end. I have to admit, I'm still a little confused by how that story ended up. I mean, couldn't Dr. Manhattan have just teleported all the nukes to Pluto or something? Or maybe he didn't do it just to have Ozymandius live with his big mistake (thinkin' he's all smart and shit. HAH!).

  • SPOILER

He recognized that Ozymandias was right in his decision and he even kills Rorschach to keep the thing a secret

    SPOILER

  • Well, yeah, there was no turning back at that point. And Rorschach basically told him to kill him. Plus he can't change the course of history even when he knows what's going to happen.

  • SPOILER.

Dr. Manhattan realized that Ozy's decision to kill the people of New York is better than having a nuclear war with the soviet union. "Kill millions. Save Billions."

  • no, everyones wrong! it was because dr manhattan was put of by the techyones or whatever they are called, the magnetic field that stopped him from knowing what was going to happen. he diddnt choose veidts side as good or bad, he diddnt care and he diddnt have a chance to choose. however he killed Rorschach so that it would end, for now, and not result in more chaos. he just wanted it to be good for now, so as he could get the fuck outta the whole planet earth jig.

  • Good point. Even though Ozymandias is the only hero Dr. Manhattan finds interesting, by the end of the story he has become so disconnected from humanity he doesn't much care what happens. Though ultimately he's still human enough to kill to prevent the plot from leaking.

  • And ultimately this is the genius of the piece. The ink blot test from which Rorschach takes his name suggests that we see ourselves reflected in our attitude towards his actions. If you research the symbolism of all of Ozy's costuming and buildings, Moore's allusions to what kind of people Ozy represents in history is by no means flattering. People like Ozy have always been in control, causing problems AND providing the solutions.

But ultimately, this is art and we're both right.

    Go Watchmen!

  • Well, I don't think Alan Moore's personal views on his characters are easy to discover. He seems to like Daniel but I'm not sure I could ever figure out what he thinks of Rorschach or Ozymandias. If you're thinking of the Alexander/Ozymandias analogies there is no doubt Veidt is driven to become god-like in some way & that this drives him to lose contact with others(his parents tomb). But I think he's much more of a moral holy monster than a villain, though. Ozy & Moore meet politically somewh.

  • I'm referring to Ozy's link to the "illuminated ones", who Moore takes a swipe at in "From Hell" as well. The udja eye of Horus on his belt, the pyramid on his chest, his obelisk skyscraper link Ozy to free masons, illuminati, rosucrucians...whatever you wanna call em.

But like I said, this piece is so dense and beautiful that all interpretations are valid.

  • wow, good point man, no one has put it like that before. the ink blot test, of course, is just a reflection of individual perception, it wont say your sane or crazy, instead it just shows HOW you see: as in, what your mind is hiding. cant wait. 5th of MARCH EVERYBODY!!!!

  • Best book ever, huh!!!

  • **SPOILER**yeah, totally, thats the jig right there. its a sad ending, though i find it interesting as Moore said that Rorschach must have had a "king sized death wish", that he was in psychological pain through every moment if his life. he wanted to die, says Moore, but he wanted to die through his ideals of right and wrong, and to never compromise. even though he told manhattan to kill him, he must have known his journal would leak the truth. but still, he wanted to die, without compromise.

  • what does Alan Moore think of the movie?

  • He says he doesn't plan on seeing any movie based on his work and will pass all royalties to the artist Dave Gibbons. He's what you might call a stickler for the comic book medium.

  • well after they butchered V For Vendetta i would feel the same way too... but i think they will do him justice on this one...

  • I think that's total bullshit when he says he won't watch it. I love alan moore but what an egomaniac

  • Have you seen what others have done to his work. This is the first that stays close to the source material.

  • V for Vendetta did awsome, love both the comic and the movei i think theyll fuck this one up instead cus the book has too many details to put into a movie and 300 was a shit movie so i can see Snyder fucking this up big time but still gunna check it cus Watchmen is the best comic ever made

  • Beginning music?

    It seems familiar.

  • so they trying to make a movie like a comic book... isnt that what japanese/chinese have been doing 20 years ago?

  • Im so glad they changed Nite Owl's costume, he used to look like a nun.

  • In my opinion ALL the costume changes were TOTALLY unnecessary. Niteowl's original costume was awesome, then they changed it to a Batman look-alike. Adrian Veidt a.k.a. Ozymandias looks twice as young with brown hair and nothing resembling his old suit. The Comedian has a pretty spot on costume. Laurie looks like a total whore. The only one I don't have a problem with is Rorscharch's, except for the fact that his coat is black, and not brown but that's just a minor thing.

  • I agree with you on the Ozymandias thing, but I think that it would look ridiculous on screen though if they used the original costume, they should have just made some minor alterations to it. I really like the new Nite Owl and Silk Specter costumes , though (she looks hot), but as for the Rorschach thing, I don't think they changed it, I've only seen a couple of pics of him, and they both looked like he was wearing a Brown coat.

The comedian looks great, but I think that he needed to be buffer.

  • Ok, I'll agree with you on the Ozymandias outfit. It was a bit flashy. Niteowl is ok, but in the GN he was a fat superhero, in his new costume he looks buffer than ever. I still have a problem with the Silk Spectre due to the fact that in the GN she got her costume from her mother, and I don't think her mother would wear something as slinky as that.

  • Well the GN did say that Jupiter was also doing it to boost her modeling career, and during the scene with the Tijuana bible, she said that she liked the attention that she used to get for being hottttt. Also, Laurie was 16 when she started out, so maybe she wanted to change the costume a bit( which I think was a veryyyyyyy good move) since its been 20 years since her mom stopped parading as a masked hero.

  • Ah, good point, sir. But I still stand on my Niteowl opinion :P. But when I looked at an interview with the director, he said the only thing that he didn't like was the ending... What the hell?! The ending was what made Watchmen WATCHMEN. So now I'm afraid he's going to make some typical comic book based movie ending.

  • Her costume was never the same as her mothers , just the same colour scheme.

I will agree on Ozy tho using the original as a template they could have come up with something so much better for the costume. Altho I am loving the delicious irony of the bat nipples lol.

When out of costume Dan looks pretty identical to the GN. The new costume kinda makes sense, he did have the money for advanced armour/protection unlike most of them.

and rorschachs coat is still brown

  • Yeah, I suppose you're right about Dan. I do remember him talking about how he built an advanced exo-skeleton in the GN, so I guess that could be true. As I look closely I guess you are right about Rorscharch's coat being brown. Its just a darker shade than the GN's one I suppose.

  • Laurie looks VERY close to how she does in the comics so I don't really see how that criticism works. Nite Owl's design works better in film, I can see why they change Ozy's but yeah, it could have been better.

  • Sure, Laurie looks very PHYSICALLY close to how she did in the GN, but if you take a look back in the GN, her outfit was a yellow top, yellow see-through skirt that would show like a black v shaped cover, and she also wore heels. She might wear heels in the movie (I couldn't see if she had any), but the outfit is totally changed.

  • All I know is Laurie looks hot, Nite Owl doesn't look like some douche from Comic-con with a crappy Brown blue and yellow leather costume, and Ozymandias looks like he's 20 freaking years old with a gay-ass looking metal headband thats supposed to look like a fleur de liv or something.I love everything about the costumes, except for Ozy's, but hey, it's Hollywood. Also, does anyone else agree with me that Nite Owl looks like a nun?

  • In the original costume, I mean, not the film version.

  • Moore isn't against a film adaptation. He's against a film adaptation he doesn't get a slice of.

  • He's been known to donate fees from movie adaptations to charity. So you can shut the hell up.

  • Rorschach is a deconstruction of Batman, not NiteOwl (watch Allan Moore's interview on WatchMen. Regardless of anyone's opinions, the movie has been prescreened by various highly regarded directors and they loved it. Even if for some absurd, highly improbable reason this movie blows, Roschach will still forever be the fuckin' badass he is in the novel, and by the looks of it, he's gonna be incredibly badass in the movie. Seriously, guys, I think Snyder knows what he's doing.

  • NightOwl is more of a Blue Beetle.

  • How many of these directors who watched it have read the book? They're just viewing it as a film.

    BOYCOTT!

  • i don't think any of the directors but snyder have ever read the book before hearing about the movie.

  • You know what? I've been a fan of WM as long as I can remember, and read the original comics instead of the book you hobos seem so fond of.

If the creator of the damn book likes how its going, let it be. Why judge before you know whats going on? Thats like being a child who hates a color of food before its eaten.

  • If that was true I'd let it be, but the creator doesn't like hows it's going. He hates it if anything.

  • Where has he stated this? And was it before, or after the director/writer changes? Hmm?

  • I just sent you some links.

  • I'm glad a lot of people here are showing their true colors. Most important of all anyone who calls Alan Moore a "british jackass" or any names, is not a real fan period. If the real creator says he doesn't want it as a movie, thats good enough for me. Respect that, he made the damn book. You want to spread the wealth? Do it with the comic, duh. Not everything is meant to be made into a movie. Especially a movie that miss represents the true material.

  • You obviously are unaware of what Moore endorsed as a Watchmen movie. A film that raped the comic book worse than Bethesda did Fallout.

Alan Moore is a pompous ass. Yes, he wrote the comic. That doesn't make him immune to criticism, period.

  • bethesda didnt rape fallout (sorry that game is closed to my heart and i had to bring it up even though it was a simple similie)

  • They did rape. Don't try to dispute it - I've been in the Fallout fanbase for the past 12 years and I know rape when I see it.

  • hahah, go fly back to NMA hahaha

  • I've been a respected member of NMA for five years. It's fun to see people without the brainpower to write properly try and insult me.

  • Whats with all the complaints over slow motion. If ever there were films which benefit from the technique, its comic book movies. The panels are originally still images, they allow you to absorb a moment as long as you want. Slow motion when used effectively (as Zack Snyder did in 300) can greatly convey this feeling.

  • Sigh. Trailer, Stop being the typical "Comic Book Guy". I bet you even look like that fatass simpson character. PEople read comic books because the characters are cooler than they are. So yes, the Watchmen ARE cool, from Comedian raping Sally Jupiter to Manhattan vaporizing Rorschach. Deal with it. this movie will be a colossal achievement to graphic novel-based movies. Sorry, this movie wasn't written to cater to the whims of a british jackass. Be thankful people want to spread the wealth.

  • Seriously, cry moar fanboys.

  • LOL

  • If people didn't make judgements on movies before hand, than we would have to watch every single movie that comes out silly.

My judgement from everything i've seen so far is that the film nonsense.

  • Looks to me you should read the book again, open your eyes, and see the difference between that and this ridiculous, slo mo stereo-type, commercialized, cool-factor nonsense, joke of a film. Being cool is not what Watchmen is about. There Is far more depth than that.

  • Way to judge the movie before you have seen the whole thing. Comic book movies are growing more and more popular, so either get use to it or stop whining. I can't wait for this sweet, cool looking(and yes watchmen is allowed to be cool) movie to come out. So give it a chance before you bash on it.

  • dont be such a dick, a movie doesnt have to be about just one thing, a movie can be cool and have some depth, and whats wrong with slow mo shots, its a fucking comic book slow mo shots are as close as you can get too still shots without being shit

  • Slow motion is not in the movie, it's been confirmed. It's there just for the trailer cool factor.

  • Oh my goodness!!! This movie is looking worse and worse!! Why is there so much rediculous slowmotion shots! Why is Nite Owl looking like batman! This is crazy. I'm on Moore's side.

    Watchmen + Zack Snydes = Bullsh*t.

People don't know what watchmen is really about!

  • Looks to me you could benefit from watching my interview series with Zack I've just begin posting.

  • Duh... Because NiteOwl is a deconstruction of Batman?

Sounds like you need to reread the comic.

  • What's the song in the beginning of this video

  • Anyone who sides with the studios or snydes rather than Moore on this most fundamental of ethical arguments is NOT a true fan of Watchmen. If you understand art you realise the point that Moore is arguing. If you do not understand art...uhhh...then Snydes is your main man.

  • This movie is a disgrace to the comic and a shame that the creator has been so sidelined and ignored.

What a joke of a film.

  • dude, ONE of the creators CHOOSE not to be involved in ANY Watchmen movie, BEFORE this version was even being made. As you cans ee from this vid, the OTHER creator Dave Gibbons, is VERY involved and very happy.

  • Moore = the ideas, the dialogue the core mythos and the concept of Watchmen. Gibbons = rudimentary and safe art that was functional but nothing that you couldn't get elsewhere. ALAN MOORE IS WATCHMEN. Deny it all you want so that Gibbon's seal of approval makes you feel better. Fact is, the man that made it what it is has said NO. He actually gave Terry Gilliam more of a chance to make a film of this back in the day. According to Moore, Snyder is a joke. I fully agree on that.

  • Look at this damn video you posted! What is with all this slow mo, glossy visuals and music like this is some MTV promo!!!! This is WATCHMEN! A concept more grounded in reality than any comic book before or since. If anything it should be promoted as THE most realistic depiction of comic heroes. LOOK AT TDK! This movie is like Sci Fi compared to bloody BATMAN! hahaha, you people are hilarious.

  • I find it disgusting that you people think that this movie will be good.

  • I find it disgusting that you have a lack of faith in the words of the man that DREW Watchmen... and the fact that you have so little faith in someone that has proven he is capable of a directing a good movie...

  • You think Zack Snyder is capable of making a good movie? WOW. Did you not hear about what he did to the ending? What he did to Ozy?

  • what did he do?

  • He changed the ending, and he made Ozy look like Batman. The ending changed DRASTICALLY.

  • just say what he did

  • I did, he changed the ending and made Ozy look like Batman. Just google it, since there's too much info.

  • wow, love that the newspaper guy is looking exactly as in the comic.. you think the comic in the comic will be there? u know the one with the pirates and stuff!?

  • I heard that they're cutting the Black Freighter to a special on the DVD. Bummer

  • thats too bad, but also, one most consider that it could be confusing in the film to have that many parallel stories to keep track on.. maybe its for the best!

  • omg, i want to thank ya blunty, your movies are great, and i'm happy about the fact that one of the best comics is made into a movie, now only "the dark knight returns" is missing^^

  • fuck hard in my ass the is a fucking good movie ps. im from germany and im hungry. pik pik pik pik pik og lort lort lort i munden.

  • This vid made me sOOoOoOo wet LOL

    bye DY

  • yo whats the name of that song at the beggining

  • yea but sara at citizens advice is well hot,,wish she were mine.. i would idolise her xxxx sara

  • i like the music in the beginning and yea the person from the watchmen team looks like blunty!!!

  • Yeh I like the music too.

  • I'm going to Dave's book signing on Thursday :)

  • Wow. It's awesome that they're putting SO much attention to detail into the movie...That already sets it apart from a lot of movie adaptations of anything that I've seen...

  • I just finished reading Watchmen, and DAMN was that a good graphic novel. I can only hope it will carry over to film.

  • Thanks so much for posting these blunty!!!

    The movie looks great

  • lol blunty at 0:06

  • lol so true

  • Definitely awesome to hear the original Watchmen creators talk about it.

  • Whats the music at the begining?

  • OK .... how about they talk about the actual SCRIPT and the ACTING, not just the scenery, cinematography, and costumes?

I have yet to be reassured that the same man who directed "300," which had undoubtedly the most cliche, over-the-top, one-emotion script and acting of the year could put the EMOTIONAL depth into "Watchmen" that he can obviously do with cinematography and art direction.

  • Why is everyone being so arsey towards Alan Moore? As the creator of Watchmen I think he has a right to be concerned about a movie based on his work. I'm actually glad to see he's not up Snyder's arse and being a complete sellout like so many people these days. Also, I'm not saying Dave Gibbons is a sellout, so don't even try and tell me that I am.

  • I can't believe I never read the novel, I need to read it before the movie comes out! Good thing I have a few months.

  • my uncle was the set designer YAY

  • Blunty your awesome!

where did you get your watchmen shirt at, i'm too lazy to look

  • Blunty isn't ivolved with the production is he?. I mean, he has just taken the video journal of Gibbons, which has been online for 3 or 4 months, and added a bit of himself talking at the start. The 6th of every month, a new new video journal is released by the studio. There are already 7 video journals on youtube.

  • Best one so far. Nice to see a comic book artist happy with the film being made from his book not like Mr Alan Moore....

  • atleast dave gibbons is involved in the movie. and is giving it his blessing unlike alan moore who is being a total dooosh

  • whats the name of the intro song?

  • i hope itll be good!

  • Oh wow... the color palette never occurred to me XD

  • *wants film in my underwear*

  • Again-I'll get my brother to subscribe.

  • OH BOY!i bet blunty gets the most jolly fealing after he se your comment ( if do ) to know that 1 person is struggling to get hes brother to subscribe to he's chanell.

    please -,-

  • shity ? watchmen? crap? are you crazy dude!!!? lol

  • Haven't read any of the Watchmen comics, so...why do most of the superheros look like ones that already exist?

  • theyre supposed to be influenced by existin heroes tho some are really original. And theres only one "super hero" as in theres only one of them with powers *u guessed it the blue guy hehe* still give it a shot it pwnss and this movie may surpass dark knight

  • well its actualy a graphic novel not a series of comics. the reason theylook like ones that already exist is because alan moore who wrote and created watchmen wanted to base certain parts of his charactors off ones that already existed but did not want to use famous charactors in the GN its self. he wanted to create his own epic tradgic story using charactors he created him self inspired by charactors created by others. example Rorshach=the question, night owl=batman, dr manhatten= captain atom

  • this film looks amazing and dave is a legend
