  • Imports and rally cars have nothing on the sound of a classic muscle car

  • I do actually have an education, and I've worked my ass off to pay for it. I don't understand why people brag about their "twin turbo Maserati" when they don't even own one. The guy does have some balls. I know this because he's my cousin. He also has a 1970 Pro Street Chevelle pushing over 750hp it ran a 10 flat at Englishtown at 150mph. You can have your "twin turbo Maserati", and I'll take my cousins hand built peice of American Muscle!

  • too bad thats not a real yenko!!! Fake wanna be fucking garbage!!!

  • @14ISTIGHT You clearly cant read either dumbass, IT SAYS RECREATION IN THE DESCRIPTION MAYBE IF YOU GO TO SCHOOL AND GET A GOOD EDUCATION, YOU WOULD HAVE REALIZED THAT DIPSHIT

  • @MajesticProductions1 Maybe if you had a fucking education you would stay away from run on sentences. I don't understand why people try to pass off fake bullshit for the real thing. Just restore your car to what it was not fake garbage. If this guy had some balls he would have a twin turbo Maserati like me, BITCH!!

  • "Take off"....were the flaps down?

  • a set of headers will free up a LOT of ponies out of that motor. ive read that with headers those zl1s make over 550 hp.

  • @RicerEater1978 - The Yenko Chevelle never had a ZL-1 engine. They came with the L-27 427.

  • @JohnQuincyAdams1 aahhh, thanks for sharing! i wouldnt have known that. what about the yenko novas?

  • @RicerEater1978 - Same. The all aluminum ZL-1 427 race engine only came in 69. 1969 Camaro's and 2 1969 Corvette's. Many more were sold through Chevy Parts Departments however and installed in race cars.

  • @JohnQuincyAdams1 interesting, i just assumed that since the yenko camaros used the zl1 427, so did the other yenkos. you learn something new every day :)

  • @RicerEater1978 - ? Yenko Camaro's didn't come with the ZL-1 427. They all had the L-27 427, 450 horse engine. I know, I owned one for many years.

  • @JohnQuincyAdams1 yeah, just did a little research and i see where i was getting confused. from my understanding, yenko did indeed cast zl1 engines but never put them in the production camaros, the zl1 option was built by fred gibbs (i believe). so there were copo zl1s, just not from yenko. got it straight now :p

  • @RicerEater1978 - Don Yenko and Fred Gibbs were both big time drag racers and so they used the ZL-1 engines for racing. They even had all aluminum engine blocks made to their specifications, but in the street cars the cast iron L-72 427, 450 horse engine was used. In actuality, the L-72 engine could make more power because the cast iron block didn't distort like the aluminum block would, which helped piston ring sealing, making more power. :)

  • @RicerEater1978 - The ZL-1 Camaro was manufactured by Chevrolet as a production line drag race car and in 1969, Chevrolet made 69 of them, along with 2 ZL-1 powered Corvettes, (also for racing purposes). The ZL-1 Camaro's and Corvette's are so expensive to buy, only folks like Donald Trump can afford them. They aren't cars anymore, but investments that the rich buy and sell like gold or silver investments. Sad.

  • Sounds like a pissed off growling junkyard dog

  • Still COOL no matter what..... Long Live All CHEVELLES

  • Not true Yenko!

  • @peanuttization WOW CRAZY NOT LIKE IT DOESNT SAY IT IN THE FUCKING DESCRIPTION DUMB FUCK

  • @peanuttization You're just backing down because you didn't read it right dumbass, now "Crawl back into your Prius and stay off Youtube,,,,,,,," (peanuttization) You "penis puke" (peanuttization)

  • @MajesticProductions1 I never back down. But i do see that you ran out of ammunition..Maybe you need to change your panties now. Cya!

  • @peanuttization nope i didnt run out of ammunition just using the stupid ass comments you used LOL (gayboy) and clearly you're backing down cause youre saying "adios" and "cya"

  • What exhaust are you running?

  • What kind of gears And transmission are you running?

  • @deangelorock He's running a 427 (in the description) and by the way he revved up when He took off, he's probably running a four speed manual

  • geared to high for me. nice car.

  • most beautiful sound in over the World, I ever heard. Sweet Jesus give me Chevy like This one, and I will always love You

  • Dayamm, that Yenko Chevelle is fast!, those Yenko Chevelles came with the L72 all iron 427 right?...

  • cammaro u mean?

  • Some Camaro came with the iron L72 427, the all aluminum version was the ZL1, but these Don Yenko Chevelles came with the all iron L72 427 too.

  • @VayLoc310 - Right from the Chevrolet factory production lines, yes.

  • my all time favorite car but tied with the 70 ss 454 chevelle but i prefer the looks of the 69 plus the same power rating

  • @DylanR2008 - The biggest engine that was regularly available in a 1969 Chevelle was the 396 and 375 horse engine. In 1970 that was increased to 454 and 450 horses.

  • right but a 427 was rated at 450 hp in a yenko chevelle in 1969 so yeah the regular production engine was less powerful. but the 1970 454 and the yenko are rated at the same hp output

  • @DylanR2008 - The LS-6 454 was a more powerful engine than the L-72 427. More cubic inches = more torque.

  • far enough i'm sure the ls6 had more horses than the 427 i was just saying they had the same hp rating

  • HA! 454 =crap < 427= GOLD

  • @69Cabeast - They are essentially the same engine with only minor differences.

  • @69Cabeast - They are essentially the same engine with only minor differences.

  • @DylanR2008 what engine was lighter out of the 2 do u know?

  • @eddieweinburg no i couldn't tell you i won't try to be an expert on the subject i just read a lot of books on the subject my girlfriend bought me one on Chevelles for my birthday last september. i only remember the horsepower figure but i am intrigued so I will go through my book to see if it has weight figures. But I'm sure the 454 was slightly underrated in terms of power.

  • I like this car in red!

  • where are the yenko novas?

  • @bob1sded - Bought up by rich people and stored away rarely to see the light of day ever again.

  • sad.. Dx
