  • Honestly i disagree. I bust my ass stocking at a busy ass publix and still workout 5-6 days a week. Eat like a truck, sleep like a bear, workout like a fucking monster and know what you want. Exactly like what you said in the end of the video, you can do whatever the fuck you want to do,

  • you guys are right but.. you gotta relize how much freakish real world strength you get from working those hard ass jobs. my grandfather has been moving funiture, chopping wood, moving heavy objects, and this dude can probably bench maybe 300 pounds (could be exaggerating). sometimes you build so much strength and muscle there's no need to go to the gym.

  • good advice, guys. i'm working as a manual laborer at the moment. 12 hr shifts are definitely taking a toll on my workout. like you said, sufficient rest/sleep and a well-calibrated diet are just as important as workout itself. muscle building doesn't happen inside the gym, but outside. also, don't overtrain yourself. listen to your body.

  • This past summer....when i started working out in the gym fulltime it was really hard to build muscle and gain weight with a physically demanding job. The second school started and i stopped the physical work, weight gains shot up and i gained muscle sooo fast.

  • Moving furniture is the worst job you could ever fucking do when it comes to lifting.You'll need to eat like a cow & stack on all kinds of electrolytes & gatorade just to keep up with the job. Especially on a hard day of movin furniture.Best to lift on an easy day ,but eventually it's gonna catch up & it's the best fat loss plan ever. I remember once I lost 9 to 10 lbs in 2 weeks in fuckin November..Charlie horses & everything.So Thankful those days are over.

  • Yesterday i've thought about this question and miraculously you guys made a video about it. Already thought about working out in the morning but we don't got no 24/7 gyms here in Holland and the they open at around 9 in the morning at earliest.

    I got gains and now i'm going to lose them (again) i can't quit my job so i got no choice.. gotta cut off my gym membership.

I had to carry real heavy stuff like heaters and boilers - so i had some issues with my lower back. i started a full body workout with hyperextensions and fixed my problem. beyond that job, im still working out today. good decision!

  • I work 10 to 12 hrs a day. 4:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Then hit the gym from like 3:00 to 4:30 then sleep til 10. Getting all kinds of gains. Ain't snappn no shit up!!

  • Ive been working industrial construction jobs for the past 7 yrs or so 6days 10 hours a day most weeks... from my experience all u need 3 days compound exercises...and at least one day auxuillary exercises.. And if your outside under the sun all day working fuck cardio your already sweating all damn day long either way!

  • I work in construction. I have back, knee and wrist injuries. I just returned to work last month after 6 months off. Sleep, a good breakfast, lunch with lots of complex carbs and a preworkout give me energy to hit the gym after a 9 hour day. Even with my injuries and being sore after work I still have the energy to hit the gym. BUT if I don't eat properly or miss more than an hour of sleep I'm fucked. A pre workout won't help me, it just makes me feel sick.

  • I eat a huge ass breakfast before I go to work and pack my lunches. It makes a big difference in how I feel after work. I'm talking 1,300 calories for breakfast and lunch.

  • @Keystone25210 Yeah as long as you have the energy to do so, After I take a nap, Im still usually tired lol. But as long as you got the energy for it.

  • I was a mover and was going to the gym after work several times a week. It sucked, but it wasn't too unbearable. I don't think I could have gotten up any earlier to get to the gym, even if they were open. But a good hour or two of rest after work and the pre-workout Jack3d before the gym helped. I was also taking post-workout protein shakes. Make sure to eat well, stay hydrated, and keep your sugar levels up, though. I almost fainted at the gym a few times. I just about snapped my shit up.

  • @spicnspan11 Work wont affect your gains, It will affect the effort you put in at the gym. If you're tired as fuck and don't get a good workout you wont make good gains. If you have plenty of energy after work to hit the gym that's fine.
