  • I started school in 1969, and I think I remember listening to this in Kindergarten or 1st grade. A saucy, picky little child (who hated how everything had to be said twice in our readers, "Look, look, Dick! Look at Spot. Look at Spot. See Spot Run. See Spot run. Funny, funny Spot!), I hated how the Gingerbread MAN had a woman's voice. We were already getting spoiled by TV and Disney.
