The Galactic Center is the rotational center of the Milky Way galaxy. It is located about 7.6 kiloparsecs (24,800 LY) away from the Earth, in the direction of the constellation Sagittarius, where the Milky Way appears brightest. Scientists hypothesize that a supermassive black hole lies in the Galactic Center of the Milky Way, and most (if not all) other galaxies
We were part of Sagittarius galaxy, but we were consumed by the Milky Way... our galaxy wasn't the first to be consumed by the Milky Way, two more smaller galaxies had the same fate with our own. As our own galaxy I mean Sagittarius.
We have always been part of Milky Way. We (Earth) gained our moon from this collusion. We may have lost the planet between Jupiter and Mars because of this event.
Our Solar System is 95% the same as the rest of Milky Way.Our Sun is made of the same elements seen in Milky Way.SagDEG is NOT the same as our Sun.The stars seen in that galaxy are different than thoes seen in Milky Way.
Our Sun crossed SagDEG's path and got Fu*ked up good, but we were here first... and will be after it's gone.
where is sagittarius falling?

nice - makes you want a bigger x-ray telescope, for even better resolution!

Does anyone know why astrologers after a certain point left out the constellation ophiuchus?
angelbe88 3 years ago
they didnt, its still on the SC001 star chart?

That would be physical proof of Sagittarius being another galaxy being consumed by the Milky Way. Nice video!!

Because it's located in the constellation Sagittarius.

We orbit near the edge or our galaxy (more than 400 billion stars).

yes, you are correct. if our galaxy was a giant "O" we would be on the outline of the O
