Windows MAGIC (Soon to be released), boots up in about 17 seconds on about a 500MHZ system, (tested with VirtualBox), and soon to be even faster. It also runs on less than 100 MB of Ram. matter of fact, sitting idle (newest test version), it runs 64-65MB of Ram.
Windows MaGIC is a windows XP modification I'm releasing legally, because you'll still need your own windows XP Pro CD key. Check out my newest vids to see more about it :D
i used BootVis and it said that the total time my computer takes to boot is about 23.7 seconds before the logon screen appears which ofcourse is when the os fully starts taking commands from you : )
thats quick but are u connected to the internet and d u have a lot of stuff on there, is it a newly built comp ect, these all will affect ur boot speed

Yeah, it makes so much sense, I used to hate having to re-install, going through all the options and drivers manually, but now, doesn't bother me ;)
