  • i used this kit, and my brush on gel brush completely hardened after about 6 nails.. i had to end up finding another brush to use then that hardened too! how did you get yours not to go hard..? its so sad, cause now i have to go find more brush on gel.

  • @villanueva821 I don't think its the worst video ever!

  • and do they grow out like tips and you fill them in yourself or do you just start over

  • how long do they last and can you put color over top ?

  • @beautylover278 Im sure you could, they will last you a good week if you take care of them.

  • Thanks for posting this :) I just ordered one today and cant wait to try it!! Your nails look amazing!!

  • @ginandjuice77705 thank you! good luck, let me know how they turn out :)

  • i got this kit and i just put them on fyi they look GREAT ! thanx for the information !

  • acetone removes false nails. bad idea to wipe all over your nails before putting false on

  • @Prodution1000 not really cause acetone removes all the excess oils from the nail surface

  • @xonails so duz nail polish remover

  • @Prodution1000 surprisingly enough I am a nail bitter, but my nails are really strong and I use acetone.

  • Lame you cant see wat r u doin

  • @NegraBabiie apparently a lot of people can see what I'm doing.

  • ur not explaining anything ur doing...btw get a camera stand

  • @jennaluvsya2000 buy me one?

  • Do they still sell that nail set & if they do can u get them at Sally's ? Or only CVS ?

  • OMG!!! THIS WAS AMAZING THANK YOU SOO MUCH IT IS SO MUCH BETTER THEN THE ACTUAL ACRYLIC NAILS! GEL IT THE KEY! :) THANK YOU!

  • I tried this, the same way u r doin it now n they came out great!!!!!!!!

Thanks. This video helped ALOT :)

  • What happens if they start to crack?

  • that looks so cool! :)

  • These look so good

  • did you use a nail drill?

  • lol Sounds like a deal, i'll work on my spelling and You work on making better Videos.

  • video is horrible...Nails turned out OK. On your next video be more prepare.

  • @yourhoney8 ok thank you for the feedback. And next time you leave a comment, make sure you spell check :)

  • i was gonna buy that set to do..but i changed my mind lol

  • @chloepemberton03 lol why? honestly you cannot beat the price, although I must say that I only used the kit once and never again.

  • Hey how would you get these off?x

  • @bexielexie13 What I did was use the little wooden cuticle stick and picked at a corner until I could remove all the gel and the nail. It probably won't come off in once piece, but they are easier than the ones from the salon to remove. Happy New Year! :) hope that helped.

  • So you didn't use acrylic powder for this!?!? this is nicee!

  • @sweetKNJ I used everything that came in the kit :-)

  • do you know if they sell them at rite aid?

  • @ariya13 Honestly, I don't. I do most of my shopping at either CVS or Walgreen's. But I know for sure Walmart has them. My Rite aid doesn't have a good selection of items :(

  • @ariya13 yes they do

  • Omg I'm so getting this. I've been staring at it in Walmart for years, I was just too scared I'd eff up and waste $13. I so want acrylic nails for Christmas thanks so much for the tutorial. I have all the patience in the world if I can do it myself.

  • @RoseTheOne64 Did you end up trying this out??

  • Dang Girl I Understand Your Nails Look Pretty But Your Looking At Them Ever 2.5 Secs.

  • @iDontLiee I know right? CRAZY

  • Would you be able to do this then goto the nail salon and get a design I mean I'm looking into doing nails but this is something quick and easy but to get a design at the salon

  • @minniemic0zz I have never actually thought about doing that. You could try it or call ahead of time. :)

  • What are you doing ? OMG

  • @Natalia7882 oh em gee!

  • I would love to do this myself but for $15 CAN I'd just rather add another $5 and have them done at a salon :P but great video :)

  • Do they last long? Do they come off easy?

Im looking in to getting this kit, so please answer my question if you can !! :D

    Melissa

  • @craftmelissa14 They will last you a good week if you dont work and if you take care of them. They will generally come off on their own, although you could take them off like you would salon nails. Hope that helps, let me know if you try this :)

  • i got mine done with the asian girls :) xD

  • When it's time for a fill would you repeat the same process but only to fill it in ?

  • @lalahunnie06 Yes I would imagine so.

  • how can you take the nails off?

  • @SummerLuver333 I used the little cuticle stick the kit came with, poked a corner that was staring to come off on its own and then carefully take off the nail, it shouldn't be painful.

  • @ROCKERITA44

these arnt ret because u dont ushaly get the powder the gel and the actavater

  • Where Doo Yhuu Buyy Theee Kittt??

  • @icanshffle760 I got mine at CVS, but people have seen them at Walmart and even walgreens

  • @ROCKERITA44 Ohh Thanxsz :)

  • i watched the video went out and bought the kit and i love it. its so easy the nails are actually really strong. thanks for the video :)

  • Does it take long when you want to take them off ?

  • @yellowstars862 no, and the good thing is that your nails don't get damages as they would if you were to get them done at a salon

  • @ROCKERITA44 You shouldn't get damaged nails while getting your nails done at a salon, so if that's your experience I think you should change nailsalon:)

  • i heard you can only use this kit once for the nails, how many times did you get to do your nails with this ?

  • @101GirlDope I only used it once, but the set actually comes with quite a few nails, some are regular nails and some are the white ones(which are the ones I used). I would approximate that you would be able to do your nails about 4 times. And there is plenty of gel & powder for all the applications.

  • Can you paint over them and then remove polish with acetone to paint again without melting it away?

  • @bluefavorites I dont see why not.

  • @bluefavorites No, you want to use non acetone nail polish remover if you use acetone they will start to melt away and it will ruin them. Hope this helps :)

  • @MissGreekBeauty93 Oh ok thank you that really helped :)

  • @bluefavorites you are very welcome :)

  • @bluefavorites its better to use non-acetone nailpolish remover.

  • can you do a fill in with them?

  • @ariana26yamile2 unless you're perfect don't judge her. and I highly doubt you've even done this before so why judge? really.

  • @KaseyIsBlonde FUCK YOU

  • no offense but it is ugly!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ariana26yamile2 none taken :)

  • @ariana26yamile2 no its not it was the first time she did it so dont be nasty

  • @elliejadecozens FUCK YOU TOO

  • @ariana26yamile2 if you dont like it then dont comment but im not being cheeky btw i am just being honest!xxx

  • @ariana26yamile2 Why do you have to be so rude? At least she tried. It's not like she claimed to be a pro :/

  • @ThatCrazieGrl MIND YOUR DAWM BUISNESS

  • @ariana26yamile2 Ok I will mind my DAMN business. Put your spell check on little girl..

  • can you do this same method for the fills? (minus putting on the tips )

  • @judilinni sorry hun, I bought this kit over a year ago, I dont have it anymore

  • ummm yeahh.... when i tried this it sucked!!! it came out really bad.... and it took me 1 and 1/2 todo just one hand... waste of money... its better just to go to the nail salon to do it!!!!! (just saying.... i got my own opinion) -28cait

  • @SuperWWEEdgehead I assure you that I am no expert, this was my first time trying them out, and just practice and if you are having trouble dont give up :) a few things to keep in mind: cut the nails prior to applying them (if you cut them after gluing, sometimes the nail will come off), make sure to take any oils off your nails (that may cause the nail to not stick on correctly, apply the gel evenly- 1 or 2 coats at the most, and do not over do the powder.

  • How long do they stay on? Plz respond. And about how many times do ou things you could get out of the gel?

  • @zhuzhupetmania the gel will last you through the whole set, you don't use that much gel as it is. IF you take care of the nails and dont work with your hands, they will last you a good week. Good luck with that let me know how they turn out :)

  • lol i can hear Alejandro Fernandez...i dont like him but my mom does :3

  • @myhorsewhizaboo I've seen these sold at Wallgreens, CVS, Kmart, there are different kits you just need to find one that includes all you need and you should be set :) they are not as thick as the salon nails but they still look pretty nice.

  • GIVE AWAY ? UMMM , YOU CAN GO TO wALGREESNS AND GET THIS FOR $10

  • @PretttyFreshmen245 :) are you subscribed? I've done 2 great giveaways so far! more to come

  • @02makeupstar yeah. should work the same

  • She posted this on my birthday! I turned 11

  • I'VE TRIED THIS/ USUALLY IT CRACKS ONCE IT DRIES.NOT SURE WHY..

  • Is it easy to remove? I mean the gel and all, because I'm a Muslim and I have to pray, and I must remove my nail polish for every prayer, is this thing easy to remove?

  • @LamaSword1 Assalamulaikum Sister!! I am Muslim to, and i understand what you mean by taking off nail polish to pray Salat. :) And I am a preteen by the way. :)

  • @LamaSword1 easier than salon nails, but I don't think it would be a good idea if you need to remove them the same day, for that I would recommend the stick on nails :) hope that helped

  • @ROCKERITA44 thank you so much :)

  • Is that Mexican music I hear in the background? =)

  • If they start looking crapy could you put that gel stuff back over them? Please answer i want to do this for homecoming!! Thanks!

  • how long do they last

  • @aliaberry1 depends, they look really nice for about 2 days or so but longer if you don't have to work.

  • @ROCKERITA44 YES

  • Watch sccastaneda it's better...... :)

  • @LliciaBhadd is that so?

  • I have tried this kit once...Do you know why after a couple of days the gel cracks? I would love to continue with this product if I know what I'm doing wrong.

  • @mthorton06 hmm not sure, I posted this Vid a year ago & I havent had a special occasion where Ive had to "get fancy nails" try adding less glue? or maybe some of the powder has damaged the gel applicator making it grainy and causing gel to crack...Good Luck :)

  • nevermind i didnt realize the product is different from acylic

  • Not to be rude but you did this completly wrong . gel it not glue its a base coat to make your nail shine .

  • @ninaaVSninaa Honey I just followed the instructions.

  • i want to get this

  • Lol i hear Estuve in the background :)

  • How long did they stay on??

  • @RandelGB13 couple days- just depends on your daily life

  • omg as i click a differnt video i see different ways to do ur nails idk how to do them now so many ideas and idk whats the best ughhh );

  • @91honeybunable I know exactly how you feel!! Maybe researching too much and seeing too many ways of doing it is worse than just trying out the first few ways you come across ._.

  • @91honeybunable yeah there are tons of vids. You can always combine diff ideas and make them work for you. Good Luck!!

  • How long do they last? They arent like salon nails and last a very long time do they? Or are they easy to brake?

  • You shouldn't dip the brush back into the gel without wiping it off first. The powder that remains on the brush contaminates the gel and it will harden.. even without the activator. Also, use actual nail glue in the future. Your nails will last much longer! :)

  • You shouldn't dip the brush back into the gel after applying it over the powder. It contaminates the entire bottle of gel. Even without the activator it still hardens. Wipe the brush off first! Also, the gel doesn't do that well as a glue for the tips, buy a bottle of nail glue.. They last longer that way! :)

  • ehh, it was ohkay buht i perfer to buy your kiit at sallys to last way longer than 3 days

  • @MoFooShoo yep, they don't take long before they are ready to buff and to apply polish.

  • good job its way better than using the powder and liquid can u post a video o doing a filling

  • the best nail bitch

  • i would never do my own acrylics

  • Watch 1SimplYounique's video it's much better

  • @thebestiebookie Im not trying to be better than anyone else :)

  • @thebestiebookie thx it is

  • Did it smell?

  • @morakiniana LOL not as bad as a nail salon.

  • i did this 2 times. and i mean they look good for about 2 days then the acryllic starts to lift and it loooks horrible. so i would'nt recommend doing it!

  • @beautyloveexo yeah, happened to me. Looked lovely though when i did this for a wedding.

  • @beautyloveexo They lift because there is not any preparation to the nail before hand. You need to lightly buff the natural nail and than apply a primer or dehydrator (They don't supply that, but you can get that at the Sally's Beauty Store). The oils from your nails cause the lifting. I hope this help with your lifting issues :-)

  • Can These Fall Off? Or do you have to do something to get them off?

Cause you did a wonderful job !!! Please help (:

  • @MsIpodReview Thank you :) Im sure you can get the same results if not better. Mine fell off because of my job, but they are not like the salon nails that are super difficult to remove. What i did was take the corners off first and then carefully take off the nail, file down excess glue and give your nails time to naturally return back to normal. hope it helps :)

  • @MsIpodReview They might fall off if you are not carefull, I dont think the glue is strong enough for working. Mine came off after 2 days because i am a bagger. :( still looked pretty while it lasted.

  • boo bad.

  • how long did you keep them in

  • @friendlyfire94 mine only lasted about 2 days....I work at a grocery store so naturally with all the bagging and lifting groceries they fell off

  • can you take a shower or swim with it.

  • @heartdancer1000 yep :) just be careful when shampooing

  • @heartdancer1000 what kind of ? is that?

  • the r4sults are so damn good. wow good job!!!!

  • I actually found a kit in Canada! Only store that had them is London Drugs, but they're not supplying anymore.

My first try was last weekend. They did not turn out well. Using the gel as the glue resuled in 6 tips lifting. Finished the process but ended up removing later that night. Bought nail glue for the 2nd try. Worked 100%! But I didn't do a great job with gel & powder application - didn't get close enough to the edges on the sides. Will try fill tonight.

  • thats harder than using a brush cuz i tryed it nd it was to hared its better using a brush but thats pritty good how u do them

  • @iloveu1997lol thanks, I'll try using the brush for an up-coming wedding.

  • Where did you get the gel nails kit? I've been looking everywhere for it. D:>

  • @TheBestAmberLynne where have you tried looking for it? This kit was stocked at the bottom of the nail section at CVS

  • @ROCKERITA44 I was looking at Wal-Mart, but I found them at Walgreens the other day. :) Thank you.

  • @TheBestAmberLynne You can also get them at Walmart..

  • can u use any acrylic powder or is that a special sort?

  • @gvveeny Not sure....If you live anywhere near a Sallys Beauty Supply I would go ask or anyone that you might think might know, i Know they sell the powder separately but i dont see why you would need a special kind

  • I did this and mine turned out awful !!
