Love that accent. Good job Frere Noel. Don't forget also that God is a God of love. He left his holy throne to show us just how much. Overall I love your message great job.
@telelouange Very good video by the way. 5 thumbs up :-) . I especially like Brother Joel's question to the farmer on how to get Haiti to produce more coffee. He replied, the Haitian farmers are not lazy. If they can get bank loans, they can harvest more land. I also like when Brother Joel said that Haiti used to export sugar and coffee to Europe. That is very true and it can happen again with the right management and a government who actually cares. Will Haiti ever get a government who cares?
@nadoop Very good question my friend! This is the problem with Haiti's agriculture. The farmers cannot compete with cheaper imports. The tariffs would have to be raised to protect locally growned products such as coffee, rice, sugar etc...Baby Doc started lowering the tariffs (50%), then Aristide killed it to 3%. It was part of a deal for him to get back into power after being ousted. The Haitian government can fix this problem but they are not. Haiti can feed itself and export once again.
When does the coffee picking season start in Thiotte?

I believe haiti can compete in anything no matter the environment...because what we have to offer is better than anything else.

OK - But how are these farmers going to compete in the midst of this so-called free trade zone?
