ok so first of all.. the sinking lure is in the pond somewhere... try the lilly pads and run along the perimiter bushes.. then the log in the middle. when i was 6 i was playing on my sisters account and caught the hilyan loach.. i didnt even know what is was but... booyah!

u have to talk to the fisherman, just ask him for some fishermen secrets or something under where it says weigh my fish. talk to him til he mentions not using a sinking lure. then go look for it around the log, rocks, wherever...its a lil hard to find but u can get it everytime

hey i remembered reading your cmt and i did some searching cause i never heard bout this lure this is how u get it 1rst ctch a fish 2cnd talk to the guy about something else until he says something bout a lure 3rd check these areas for the lure...around bushes at the edge of the whole area the logs lili pads, and sometimes its around rocks hope it helps you :] oh yea when u get it make sure u tell the guy bc then hell make it legal for u to use it so u can still keep records if u ctch a big fish

you have to rune around the lake at the grass, or swim at the log in the water thats stiking up out of water, or the 3 poles that are all poking out of the water too :)

that fuckin thing took forever for me to get, thank god i took pictures of it so that i wont ever forget catching it. the stupid thing is your prize is money. i always used to see it and i always tried to catch it but i always failed .i went online to see how. by the way if you decide to catch it yourself, be sure to get the sinking lure and then ask the guy about fishing, doing this will legalize the use of the sinking lure.

yeah its REAL put on your iron boots and see you noobs, and its possible to catch WITHOUT the sinking lure just wait for it to rain or go for air takes time to catch so be patient

Why is everyone saying it's fake? I caught it on my N64 just 20 minutes ago. I got it before dawn, it weighed 29 pounds. It looks like a brown slab of "something" which is lying on the bottom of the pond. It'll eventually move to get air, it takes ages to catch it. I don't get the fuss about it being not real.

haha that thing is worthless, u can get the golden scale without the sinking lure or the loach, all u need is to catch the 15 pounder by the sunken log.

Yes. There's one Hylian Loach in the whole lake and it is always in the deep one of the lake! It sees as to catch the sinking lure on video of demonstration.
