hey guys, I have left only the challenge with the Skyline R34 slipstream battle, I ve tried my best staying in the same race-line as the A.I. but i can only reach 0.5 secs behind 1st, HOW ON EARTH CAN I GET THIS RIGHT?
I remember this.. Oh my god. When I was in school, all I thought was this. This challenge. It took me, I don't even remember, how long. When I finally won it.. Can't put the joy in words. I know, I'm not that great in this game.

I was also 15 when I did this challenge, so no my driving wasn't as good as it is now (check other GT5 vids) but I wouldn't say it's terrible at all.

This is one of the most difficult or easiest challenges in the game. some people know the track well and if you do its not hard, i did this on my second try, the other challenges took alot more time.
I dont think its fair to say he cheated because he skipped a chicane. it happens. who exactly wants to stop and start again because they cut across some grass. It takes a fairly skilled driver to be able to complete all of the driving missions, something that non enthusiasts wouldnt even look at

Wacthing a replay using a TV camera is hard to judge your driving skills since we can't see how you use your brake or throttle... Ahhh something like that missing on Forza2 goddammit!! I remember i have passed this game 100% including those freaking 24 hours races. :D Thats SLR mission is the best! We have redone it with friends on Forza 2....
Well, in GT4, there is B-spec mode, where you are pretty much the "director" of your cars driver. They do the driving, you tell how to, to shorten the race to 8 hours most people use B-spec mode and use the fast-foward action.
Wow, grats on the achievement. The car you win is awesome. It took me 3 days, a total of 6 and a half hours of practice to beat the 300SL by 7.2 seconds. Very hard. Anyway, congrats.

I can say this game is the best I've played during my 15 years experience of PS....
I beat that 300 SL with 4 seconds....but without cheating that double corner which in this movie is at 4.12 seconds...and unfortunatelly I don't remember the exact time I was finished the race...so I don't now if "lunchsalamimeat" record is beaten but I'm there too....
gran turismo 4 isn't a hard game to play maybe some driving missions take a while but they are not that difficult to complete and all the regular races are a piece of cake ;)
wow does it actually come down to a few feet at the end? i've tried this mission soo many times and would get soo frustrated with it. The car you drive has a lot of power, has low traction for wheels and doesnt have a tuned suspension so loosing control is almost impossible. Well done though this is really amazing I bet you had to be soo patient in order to get it done because half way through you wish you had a formula one car so that you can just fly in order to catch up. Excellent job!
Where the fuck is your video then? Have you even done this? I did hit plenty of apexes if you watch it. You can't hit every apex due to the camber and gradient of the road around the nurburgring. I can't understand how you can say I suck bad when you have no evidence yourself of doing this mission and nothing to relate to. Are you even aware of the difficulty of this mission?

i think this is in driving missions. the last test in super license was on this course but it was like the others where you got to make it to the end by a certain time by yourself though not with other cars
no you dont, you just have to pass it, if you take it again, after you are used to drving with lets say a "S" license then you get FREE CARS when you get gold on all challenges and coffee breaks!
Impressive. Now try it with an NTSC with a dualshock, and feel my pain. I've got 80 golds, and the other 33 missions, but I'm still nowhere near getting it.
For those who don't know, he's playing the European version (PAL), where this test is 13 SECONDS easier than in American version (NTSC).

You can't tune the Formula Gran Turismo at all. You can't change the oil or tune it at the manufacture shoppe because there isn't one. The only thing you can change is settings for things like the transmission. You can add more horsepower but only in Arcade Mode. But other than that, you can't tune the Formula Gran Turismo in Simulation Mode.
I used BSpec mode in my Mercedes CLK and won.

Mate I was only 15 when I did this challenge. It was the only way I could do it and after so many tries I didn't care that I was cheating.
If you bother to look at some other videos, such as the GT5 S6 Event, you'll see that I am quite happy completing challenges without cheating.
I've improved a lot since I made this video and no longer play with assists or automatic gears. I have many top 50 times on forza 3.
I'd be more than happy to beat you in a race.

Wow, grats on the achievement. The car you win is awesome. It took me 3 days, a total of 6 and a half hours of practice to beat the 300SL by 7.2 seconds. Very hard. Anyway, congrats.

I am from ROMANIA!Ifinish this game in 2months...but I played almost non stop.....
I can say this game is the best I've played during my 15 years experience of PS....
I beat that 300 SL with 4 seconds....but without cheating that double corner which in this movie is at 4.12 seconds...and unfortunatelly I don't remember the exact time I was finished the race...so I don't now if "lunchsalamimeat" record is beaten but I'm there too....

I got to a 62% in this game, and it became insanely tough, so i just leave it on that.
Games should be fun to play, and i almost smashed my ps2.

gran turismo 4 isn't a hard game to play maybe some driving missions take a while but they are not that difficult to complete and all the regular races are a piece of cake ;)

wow does it actually come down to a few feet at the end? i've tried this mission soo many times and would get soo frustrated with it. The car you drive has a lot of power, has low traction for wheels and doesnt have a tuned suspension so loosing control is almost impossible. Well done though this is really amazing I bet you had to be soo patient in order to get it done because half way through you wish you had a formula one car so that you can just fly in order to catch up. Excellent job!

Where the fuck is your video then? Have you even done this? I did hit plenty of apexes if you watch it. You can't hit every apex due to the camber and gradient of the road around the nurburgring. I can't understand how you can say I suck bad when you have no evidence yourself of doing this mission and nothing to relate to. Are you even aware of the difficulty of this mission?

i think this is in driving missions. the last test in super license was on this course but it was like the others where you got to make it to the end by a certain time by yourself though not with other cars

no you dont, you just have to pass it, if you take it again, after you are used to drving with lets say a "S" license then you get FREE CARS when you get gold on all challenges and coffee breaks!

Impressive. Now try it with an NTSC with a dualshock, and feel my pain. I've got 80 golds, and the other 33 missions, but I'm still nowhere near getting it.
For those who don't know, he's playing the European version (PAL), where this test is 13 SECONDS easier than in American version (NTSC).

You can't tune the Formula Gran Turismo at all. You can't change the oil or tune it at the manufacture shoppe because there isn't one. The only thing you can change is settings for things like the transmission. You can add more horsepower but only in Arcade Mode. But other than that, you can't tune the Formula Gran Turismo in Simulation Mode.
