  • I reached out to my sorority last semester when I saw 2 of them walk into the comp lab. I asked them what org they were part of & the girls were really sweet. We had a full out conversation They asked me for my info and they ended up emailing me and one of them gave me her #. The email had a list of events they were hosting and I went to 3 of them. I texted her a couple of days before letting her know I was coming though! & I did I add 4 of them but not all at once. I start pledging next week :)

  • @ALEXHDTV You got some good lighting and audio damn man lol. What kind of equipment you got? I am looking to shop and need some tips thanks! :-D

  • is it better to pledge when you are financially ready to do so

  • @kbizzle08 Yes, that would be also included in "being ready to pledge" meaning you know your info, you know the members who will accept you during M.I.P. and you have the money to do so.

  • This is so true and helpful! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!

  • lol so true when i became a prince hall freemsaon . All I did was ask a them a few things. One thing lead to another and now I am one. But I do get alot of people asking some dum ass things and thats the ones that don't make it

  • You are NOT supposed to add them on FB!

  • @maeleon That's not entirely true. True, you shouldn't add every member but you can still network. Personally, one of the Deltas gave me her name on Facebook and a week later she invited me to join the group for that particular chapter and org. to inform me about events

  • @maeleon Not true at all. You can definitely social network with them BEFORE and AFTER expressing interest. I got to know my sorors before adding them on facebook and then I expressed my interest only after I had felt comfortable with them. And yes, I am a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority Inc.

  • @maeleon Why wouldn't you add them on fb just curious?

  • @MiishiiB4U discretion is key. if people see that you are "friends" with ALL of them on fb, it would pretty obvious what your intentions are. at least that's how it works at my school and i attend an HBCU.

  • @maeleon True and its not a good look.

  • the world needs more black young males like urself love

  • very helpful bro
