I do wish they would do a lil harder like older mudshovel type, or like on Break the Cycle the song Take It @ 2:16 to 2:54 shows they can be friggin heavy, and the end right after that how it just becomes so melancholy... brilliant!
When I first heard this song it reminded of my friend, devil in the dark, that i had formed a friendship with and how much i cherished our long conversations and we both had been the devil and been with the devil. Now, I listen tonight as I try to heal from the loss of my long term bf.....and it sucks because, devil in the dark, would know exactly what to say but he passed on 3 years ago.
best song on the album i believe, but not their best overall, and definetly not their best album. i think "tormented" and "break the cycle" are their best albums. chapter V was good, but IMO was just more of the 14 shades soundi love and respect all their work, but their sound seemed just to repetitive by this point. especially with the latest album. i wish they'd go back to their heavier roots for their next album.
