That's why i have my Yamaha. Only ONE cable and it is a fully functional MIDI keyboard.

I also have the CS-80V but when I played it on my synth ( a Yamaha DX-100) via a midi-usb connection, the latency was so bad it made it virtually unplayable unless the notes were played slowly. What sort of interface are you using here?

@FeatherGlow if u want it to run faster nd better theirs a couple of options like converting to firewire /useing different drivers(asio4all most of the time does the trick)unless u need a spesific driver 4 your keyboard or u could try goin into preferances nd turning up the sample rate theirs so many ways people could tell u but it just depends on the setup ur runnin so just tinker with it but all ways remember to take note of original settins so if it goes badly u can just put it back
