Oh, man wake up! The U.S: health care system hasn't been the best for decades! In every comparision the other western countries' PUBLIC health care systems have been found offering higher quality less expensive health care, and to EVERYONE. Look at the PISA results how the American students do just pathetic compared to other countries' students! The U.S. has the largest economy and best funded universities, but the education stinks. The biggest economy could (should!) do better.

Year 2000 the WHO (last time it) ranked world's health care systems. The USA's sytem was ranked 37th in perfortmance and 72nd in overall level of health care. The Commonwealth Fund ranked the USA having the lowest quality health care among similar countries! The infant mortality and life expectancy in USA stink. Yet USA pays 3rd highest health care costs, and twice more than most developped nations! How can you be possibly say U.S. health care system would be the best?
