  • WHATDYADODMAWAAF?!?

  • Was it Edward Norton or Christian Bale who refused this movie!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Reeves pulled it off, but DAMN if Norton wouldn't have sealed the deal and alongside Pacino won this movie so-fuckin-many Academy Awards...

  • it's not complete... :S

    it's cut :S

  • I'm a fan of man!

  • Who the fuck did the gun shot sounds for this movie? They're awful.

  • Thank you for putting this together! Fabulous scene(s)...

  • 240p we meet again!

  • to all those who bash on reeves. tell me, why is it that every movie i know hes in i enjoy (not drool over, but they're enjoyable). i honestly just dont see what people hate about him.

  • @Da1337Man

Me neither. He does much the same play in most movies but that works in all the movies he's in too. This is about where he started doing this thing. But he doesn't do much different in the Matrix. He's a bit the same in Constantine. But yeah, then again so is Pacino, much the same since scent of a woman in a lot of movies.

  • @mickthewack just noticed that in most of his movies, he always plays the same personality - someone who is not by any means happy, but not depressed either (which is kinda like me). and that will most of the time come out to someone who seemingly has no depth

  • @mickthewack and besides, people call this movie a masterpiece. of course, i dont wanna downgrade al pacino, hes a legend, but theres 2 sides to a coin, and al pacino is one half of it. how would people react if instead of keanu reeves we got edward cullen?

  • I wish al pacino played god in bruce almighty instead of morgan freeman

  • who am i....who are you?

  • "Satan."

    "Ohhh. Call me dad!"

  • @Polandball.......You win the internet argument....congrats.

  • morgan freeman(god) vs al pacino(satan). Money's on Pacino.

  • This movie is disgustingly Genius......"You got to hold on to that fury.....that's the last thing to go.....that's the final hiding place.......that's the final fig leaf"....lol This movie is fucking epic.

  • @SirDickStarbuck

    no, it isnt

  • u know...he plays the roll good and well but u gota give credit to the Writers

  • "I'M A FAAAN OF MAAAN!!!!!!" - best line

  • YOU MIGHT BE NOT SO FAR FROM TRUTH,CEELOSDATRUTH

  • Damn you religious bastards.Go somewhere else with your nonsense.Enjoy and appreciate this excellent performance. No one bloody asked you to accept these lines as truth.

  • JESUS IS THE BEST!!!! Satan is such an asshole!!! God is great!!! God runs hell as well! So remember that no special treatments to non believers!

  • classic movie! sometimes i feel GOD AND THE DEVIL ARE ONE!...THE SAME BEINGS

  • @ceelosdatruth WELL HE CREATED US IN HIS OWN IMAGE

  • Once you shoot like seven shots and he doesn't go down, that let's you know you need to stop shooting and get the fuck out of there.

  • such great acting and such horrible acting in one scene. amazing.

  • @MoisheKapoyr

why don't YOU show us what's great acting?

  • @VioletVeil1985 okay.... Pacino- that's great acting. Reeves that's horrible acting.

  • @MoisheKapoyr

    ooops, my mistake!

  • i can;t take pacino seriously

  • the pull the strings shit is so beautiful considering he's the Don

  • WORSHIP THAT? NEVER!!

  • "Call me Dad ..." best line ever

  • This movie was based on John Milton's Paradise Lost :)

  • "HE'S AN ABSENTEE LANDLORD!" ROTFL

  • @PattavinaFragolina Well, it's true.

  • no offense, I know this was supposed to be a serious scene but Keanu's accent made me lol so hard...

  • If you read the film correctly you realise it all happens at the basement, all his morals beliefs, instincts and selfishness ext are turned into characters.(he blames his selfish traits on his unknown father who manifests into Milton) after questioning the worth of his morals and the temptation of lust for success the love for his wife brings him to make the right decision.

  • Tony Montana is back @ 3:12 :P

  • Can you imagine how terrified you would be if you unloaded a gun into someone and they stood there like nothing happened?

  • @no10leclair id throw it at hime

  • @no10leclair I'd be like, ITS EDWARD CULLEN

  • It's called evolution. And major part of it is growing intellectually and morally. It just makes me laugh how religious addicts praise God when something good happens, blame Satan when bad things happen, and when no progressive things happen, then they say that God wants us to fix it ourselves. And THAT is the biggest goof of all time. Its far much easier to live your life and not hold your hopes on a savior, but think of yourselves as all-powerful and mighty. Just see what we have accomplished.

  • Keanu Reeves is a BBBAAADD actor. Him and acting are pretty opposite poles.

And this is one weak movie

  • @metyuewb This is a great movie with great storyline and great message:The weakness of men and deseption of the devil.

    YOU ARE SMELY ASS IGNORANT.

  • @DirtyABirdy This movie is smelly ass ignorant, and in a really cheap dumb way too. It is BAD because it tries to break down "human weakness" NOT into discussing HUMAN weakness but by TRYING to abstract it into that cheap superstitious effect-seeking bullshit about the devil. What fucking devil, isn't the big hypocritical MESSAGE of the movie supposed to be that that devil is in human nature? And Keanu Reeves is one TALENTLESS punk

  • This is extreme, but I need it to show my audience that I am genuine and good not evil.

  • In this context satan is right. God is a tightass and a sadist. He doesn't do anything for us.

  • @Imanuel601

If we got by the bibble this is very rong. Anything that exists you included are because of him. So (again going by the bibble, let;s say its true) your life, parents, friends, all you love ones and anything you have (material stuff) exists because of him. So i think he actualy has done lots of things for you. He even promiced you haven if you do what he sais. Now if you whant a mother nr.2 do do averything for you try again that is not god, you need to grow yourself.

  • i bow to satan

  • lol at "Neo"s shitty performance.

  • 1 person dislikes this(God)

  • He is exactly right. The Devil represents man, what man needs, what man wants.God is a non-existing deity as well, but representing something that we can never become and that is something divine,he represents some goal that we can never reach, total and extreme purity and not having anything - only spirituality.

  • this was awesome!!! actually religion get slammed here!

  • @MrYonomequejo Which is ironic, since the Devil in this scene is promoting his own religion.

  • better to rain in hell. haha

  • call me dad

  • overly nice people remind me of the devil.. that;s how they get you!

  • i bet 100 of these views are mine, this is so good!!!

  • @robdizzle5280 not good,but the best!

  • @robdizzle5280 it doesnt work like that u idiot

  • Reeves is a robot

  • Uh wht!? Lucifer doesn't care about man, life etc.If he did,the fool wouldn't have rebelled

  • "Despite all of his imperfections...I'M A FAN OF MAN!!!!"

  • keanu reeves sucks..

  • Checkered floor!

  • I love how he shoots him about 10 times and then ask him =who are you ONE OF THE BEST FILMS EVER!!!!!!!

  • Satan... call me dad LMAO!!!!

  • he was right on point about god.

  • this movie should've had Edward Norton ir someone instead of Keanu Reeves

  • I've said the same dagon thing for years. Reeves ruined yet another really good movie. Al really kicked butt here. It reminds me of how the kid who played Anikin Skywalker was so freakin' bad it distracted you from the story. Maybe someday they can digitally erase him from this......

  • @iceicebaby0011 I disagree. I love Reeves performance in this film, because he was into his character and had a wide range of emotions that I've rarely seen from him. :)

  • @Transformers217

I agree but only slightly. Reeves is an over rated actor, who in my humble opinion, CANNOT ACT. He is more wooden than a plank of wood, he would be better off just becoming an inanimate object, such as a movie prop, like a statue.

Wide range of emotions? His performance in this film is identical to Constantine, supremely wooden.

  • @viciouswhips What range of emotions? He shows sadness, pain, joy, and malevolence in just one scene. And he's completely into his character throughout the entire film, and actually more convincing then even Al Pacino in a couple scenes, since Pacino is just hamming it up alot.

  • this scene is to be tasted no swallowed :D. just enjoy the great acting.

  • Is taste but don't swallow mean what I think it means?

  • @londea88 Uhh...........duh. lol!

  • God=Satan- God is Bipolar

  • @100elementos Wrong!

  • @Transformers217 Prove it.

  • @100elementos Read your Bible. God is specific about what he wants, what he does, and how he accomplishes it. And it all comes down to faith, which is mainly based on free fill.

It is truth, and I've come to realize it, by applying the Bible to how I live my life. And life has become more meaningful, and fulfilling. :)

  • Yeppers, I'm with you 100%. I have to admit this perspective did change my way of viewing temptation and sin. Funny thing is about this movie is that it is an accurate depiction of how Satan operates...enough truth to lure you in if you are unlearned, but the right amount of deceit and lies to bury you if your dumb enough to believe it. Definitely leaves you thinking. Thanks for your post. God Bless...

  • @100elementos Transformers217 just did... Look at me I spent years hating running from God for the shit I did... Suicide didn't work 3 times there has to be reason; I'm not perfect no one is, damn sure aint holy not many people are but I made the choice to be myself and not get hung up in the hiccups of religion and love him for what he is. Remember an Archangel is still an Angel. I'm a damaged soul after God's own heart I'm not where I wanna be but I'm far from my start.

  • @Thearcangel979 That's great. I'm glad that you have found God in your life, and so have I. I'm on my way to getting done with my Bible studies and then study them all over again, and trying to get Baptized for the third time in my life(lol). And it's great to have God in my life again, and gaining all of this knowledge and education. When I was an athiest, I was very ignorant. But now that I'm having God in my life again, I'm reading and learning alot about philosophy, spirituality, and faith.

  • @Transformers217

I wish you well with your God, just try and not preach to people who are not interested in the bible.

My belief is that "God" is really the Sun. Without that life source, NOTHING would have existed on this planet. You can share that belief, or not, I will not preach to anyone and force it down their throat.

"If you turn the Light out then Life ceases to exist on planet Earth." - ViciousWhips

  • @viciouswhips I'll preach and spread the word of God. And you believe, isn't really backed up by any facts or evidence. God created the sun, so you're basically worshiping one of his(or her) creations. That's not good. Without God, nothing would exist. Everything comes to an end, while God is everlasting. The sun will come to an end, but not God.

If a person isn't interested in the Bible, then they don't have to pay attention to what I say. But I'll always preach and talk about the Word.

  • @Transformers217 i read the bible, the koran and currently i'm reading the satanic bible by LaVey and none of those books make sense to me.

  • @realkontschi there is a huge difference between reading & understanding

  • @smael5 EXACTLY! :)

  • @smael5 yes, you're absolutely right.

  • @realkontschi That's probably because you haven't read the Bible, nor study it with an open heart. The Bible makes absolute sense, and it is supported by historical and archeological facts.

I haven't read the Quran yet, but I probably won't ever read the satanic Bible.

  • @Transformers217 well, i'll listen to any opinion. who knows what's right and wrong? don't we all have our own morality?

  • @realkontschi I do know what's right, and I do know what's wrong. If we're gonna try to go by your definition of reality, then this entire world might be in chaos.

It's wrong to kill people, and to abuse children. If you feel that is up for debate, then you're probably insane. I don't mean to judge, but there is a RIGHT choice, and a WRONG choice. There is no philosophy behind that.

  • Funny thing is that whats right or wrong is a matter of what you think it is You can label things as evil or good but really its what you belive that dictates that in your brain. Hitler and the Nazi Party didnt think they were bad guys for doing what they did they thought that what they were doing was right and just and good for the world. The bad people dont see themselves as bad. They saw themselves the way you see yourself. Good and bad right and wrong Its all just a matter of perception

  • @l3eReal You're wrong. Morality isn't subjective, or based on perception. It's based on data, facts, and a first cause.

It is absolutely wrong to kill, rape, or steal from somebody. That's not subjective. There's an objective component with morality. It's not a matter of what I think is wrong, it IS wrong. Plain and simple.

  • It is subjective because who to say whos right or wrong? Unless you have the ego to belive that your god or creator of the unverse who are you to say whats right or wrong? Are you god? Do you have all knowing authority over all life? The people who flew into the twin towers think that they will be rewarded with heaven for the actions. But to you they did wrong. That means either you or them or going to hell. And seeing as again your not god you have no right to say whats wrong. Its your opnion

  • @l3eReal It's not subjective, because there is an objective component behind morality. I have the right to say what is right, and what is wrong. Not just based on what I know to be right and wrong, but based on data. Based on the first cause, which is God.

Without God, there is no morality. There has to be absolutes. Without absolutes, there is only chaos. Moral relativism is evil.

  • @l3eReal Just because terrorists and evil dictators like Hitler think their in the right, doesn't make it right. Their actions are evil. That's a fact.

If you disagree, then you don't have a real moral compass. I can see that you're a moral relativist, which can become very evil.

  • @l3eReal And I'm not God, but I have the right to make a righteous judgement. So I can say what is right, and what is wrong.

  • @Transformers217

No ... How about this. Somebody has a daying kid and he needs money and goes and steals from sombody who has so much money they he can trow out the window. Now this reach dude got all his money from killing and selling drugs and this kid that is daying is because this dude shot him but there is no proof of anything so the cops can't do shit. Now is this rong ? Some would say yes and some would say no. This is all realitive stuff. It is subjective.

  • @xxan84 It's not relative, and it's no subjective. No matter what the situation, stealing is wrong. The ends don't justify the means.

A person who steels money to buy his hungry kid some food, has good intentions. But the act is still wrong. There's no way around that.

  • @Thearcangel979

if you kill yout self you go straight to hell

  • @ennou81 Yay... Good job

  • @ennou81

    What's wrong with hell?

  • @viciouswhips

when you go to hell there s nothing wrong

everythinbg goes how it suppose then

    so nn make stress

  • @Transformers217 Good Job, the right people are listening

  • al pacino is THE MAN!!!!

  • All the acting in this movie is great

  • Think the 20th century was bad?

Geesh, try the 13th and 14th centuries.

Lets see, the millions killed by Ghengis Khan....the millions killed during the Islamic/Christian wars (Crusades).....the millions killed during the Black Death or Plague...

And it puts the 20th century into perspective....it can always be worse.

Besides a lot of good came out of the 20th century too. A lot more charity and humanity arose during this past century than most.

    Know history, know the future.

  • very true indeed, but i think his point is that God is not doing anything about it because he wants us to fix it by ourselves, were like his own sick experiment, we are becoming more peaceful, it is all relative, and it WAS a lot worse back then

  • @endlessrskies

peaceful??? u must be outta ur mind, i dont call this world being peaceful, get out of ur little paradise and look around u and then tell me what peace is, peace will never be achieved cause of human need for power, its in our nature to fight for our differences!

  • @RottNBrain epic fail, i never said this world was peaceful, im in agreement with u on that, but look through history, slowly but surely we are getting better, and thats a fact friend, we might be more deceptive and cunning, but were working through it

  • Better? You honestly think were getting better? The world is a unfair place but only because we make it so. Look at America the settlers were starving and dying and the Native Americans found them and fed them and showed them how to live in the new world. And then they commited almost complete genocide on them. And stole their form of goverment. How is it that cultures that primtive were able to live off the land in realtive peace and harmony and we cant? Were getting worse not better

  • @l3eReal its all part of the plan

  • Think the 20th century was bad?

Geesh, try the 13th and 14th centuries.

Lets see, the millions killed by Ghengis Khan....the millions killed during the Islamic/Christian wars (Crusades).....the millions killed during the Black Death or Plague...

And it puts the 20th century into perspective....it can always be worse.

Besides a lot of good came out of the 20th century too. A lot more charity and humanity arose during this past century than most.

    Know history, know the future.

  • @PartsandTechnical actually the millions killed in the 20th century was probably equal to if not greater than the last millenium put together. u gotta remember the world was NOWHERE near as populated back then. We had WW1 and WW2, vietnam, the holocaust, stalin's massacre of his own ppl and several other genocides and wars go on around the world. hell ww1 and ww2 probably killed more ppl than there was alive in the entire ancient world

  • Geesh, you all think the 20th century was bad?

Try the 13th or 14th century.

Lets start with the millions killed by Ghengis Khan....then the millions killed during the Crusades....then the millions killed in the Black Death.

20th century saw a lot of good too.

Know your history, know your future ....

  • "Who in the right mind can possibly deny that the 20th century was entirely mine?" Man whenI hear that I think it's true all that evil in that century who knows if that 's true.

  • Dv122, what's ur prob? Yu need to relax...ur crazy!

  • keeano reeves sucks.

  • I'm a humanist! Lmao...al Pacino is amazing in this scene as he always is!

  • @whirlypop313 shut the fuck up you faggot. ill piss in your mothers asshole

  • KILL Urine_Bubbles!

  • DAAAMMM best scene EVER!!

    pacino+reeves !!! holy fok!

  • The writer of this film was on the money! Better to reign in hell than serve in heaven is (paradice lost) The writer was actualy named John Milton. As for the entire 20th centry being his is on the mark! Incredable! Not to mention Al Pacino!!!!!!

  • @dreamy741 so money

  • @dreamy741 The writer was simply writing things, that would probably be based from Satan's ignorant and nihilistc point of view. Personally, I'd rather serve in Heaven, and then deal with hell any day of the week.

With that being, Al Pacino is awesome! :)

  • @Transformers217 Ignorant? Wouldent Lucifer know more about god than anyone of us? Think about it like this. You ever work for a boss that was a complete selfish stuck on himself prick? Did you ever have enough balls to tell him where its at? Think about it.

  • @dreamy741 Lucifer didn't know much about God to begin with. Satan was selfish, ignorant, prideful, and angry. He got what he deserved in the end.

    But OMG, I love Pacino's performance! :)

  • @Transformers217 This is how they used to think god was but it's changing now.

  • @londea88 Well God is love, and always has been "love." In the old covenant, he was a bit harsh, but that's called "discipline." But I think he realized that the old covenant needed to evolve for humanity, and that the new covenant would create salvation for all of humanity. :)

  • @Transformers217 Good job... you couldn't be more right

  • @Thearcangel979 Thank you. God bless! :)

  • @dreamy741 nobody reigns in hell

  • The devil reset the rules. Everything was allowable before original sin. Whose the biggest moneywrench thrower-come bellyacher of all? Done tol' you once you sombitch, I'm the best there's ever been. **== Oh say can you see, by the dawn's early light... B)-~~~

  • The 20th Century was indeed all evil. The writer of this script was clever, very clever.

  • What was so evil about it?

  • soccerlover1598: Well, a close examination of the 20th Century symbolized too many wars, prohibition, etc. It could have, and should have been better.

  • @terrafirma91 prohibition is evil??? your gonna have to explain that one to me

  • drewster85: Is it the role of government to place restrictions on a citizen's freedom? Should government agencies be empowered to determine what substances a person places into their own body? Where should it end? What are the limits?

  • So I would characterize it as unjust. But evil suggests some dark "satanical" inspiration. It's only a ban on alcohol and there is a good argument that alcohol is pretty darn "evil" itself. They refer to alcohol as "spirits" and some violent "spirits" have been know to come out of people when they consume alcohol. not to mention, it depresses you. but the ban on it by the government is controlling, yes. but evil? no

  • drewster85: I assume you're against alcohol consumption, at least the over-consumption of it. So, how about man-made drugs from influential pharmaceutical companies? It seems that more people die from these man-made concoctions than alcohol.

  • well, I originally responded to you because you gave prohibition as a reason for why the 20 century is "evil". I just thought that was a stretch. pharmaceuticals? sure they are very harmful in many cases, but good in others. i'm taking penicillin right now to cure strep. so, what is your point?

  • drewster85: Besides prohibition, the millions of deaths from 2 World Wars. I still can't understand why so many people had to die at such an astronomical monetary cost. Antibiotics are alright, especially If you're taking them for Strep Throat. Keep in mind man-made antibiotics also destroy the good bacteria in the body. Do you realize how many people die yearly from pharmaceutical drugs? What about the side-effects? They probably do more damage than good, but that's just my personal opinion.

  • When he bashed God, the whole theatre burst into applause.....amazing!

  • This film is a masterpiece.

  • the best 4 al pacino

  • Did a christian create this film? Ive seen christian films but this is Pacino! Most dubious.

  • One of the greatest monologues in cinema hisory.

  • @mitchconn then you also have to see the Michael Clayton opening scene and Libertine opening and closing monologues amazing!!

  • @mitchconn that's what amazed me with this movie, what a script! who writes this amazing stuff?

  • @mitchconn Agreed... with the greatness Al not the dialogue

  • i love this.
