This show's episodes have themes going in the order of the games:

Ape Escape: The obvious, Jake and Spike.

Ape Escape 2: The whole Kuutaru (baby spector thing), kinda being like Jimmie's pet baby monkey. Even though Spector's origin in the games is as an amusement park monkey, not as a pet.

Ape Escape 3: The movie episode, and then Spike capturing himself. (Then the Main characters later.)

And now Pumped and Primed, and Million Monkey's with Haruka, the Pipotrons, and those 4 evil monkeys.
