I decided to look to see what all vids of MDSV there was on here and saw this. I lived on Lindsay Ln. about 3/4 a mile from Roberts Ridge. What I found hilarious was I was thinking how funny it would be to see my truck coming off this hill when i clicked on this vid....sure enough....the green and silver GMC at the beginning is mine! Great vid!

That is funny. As my hometown I always get a kick out of going back. In fact I was just there last night at Grand View Park. They've done a good job improving it there.

I grew up on Lindsey Lane (graduated JM in 2001) on past Clearview... I lived across from the water-tower. My parents moved a few years ago to another house in town, and going home just isn't the same anymore. Thanks for the post! I don't remember you, but I used to hang with the Harris's next door (left) to your old house.

Great vid. I used to live in clearview heights from about 1980 to 1989, before we moved to Morgantown. I also used to ride my bike out to halls mart. We also used to sled ride down Mr. Wally's yard down to the Hudnell's house. There is a lot of great childhood memories from the 80's from that neighborhood. Still get to Moundsville a couple of times a year but, not to the old neighborhood that much. My old house is at 6:26 in the video. Thanks for the memories.

I sure remember you! And I saw your parents in Morgantown after going to school at WVU but I didn't know your family moved there. I went to WVU from 1988 - 92. My brother had seen you since we all grew up. I now live in Northeast Ohio and have been communicating by e-mail with some of the old neighbors (Hudnalls and Moniot). I send you my e-mail address if you want to catch up. I get back to Moundsville several times per year.

Wow dude I used to drive that exact same route for years. My best friend lived past clearview about a quarter mile on the right. Literally all the way from Nick's Lounge all the way up. Thanks for posting +fav

I used to ride my bike out to Hall's Mart if you recall that small stores a few miles out the road. We loved it when they built that store. As kids with nothing to do in summer, to be able to bicycle out 20 minutes and buy some candy or whatever was a highlight! Ahhhh, small town livin'.
