From my perspective, Hyoshin does not live up to his greatest when he sings in english.
Almost seems like he holds back because he is not confident in his pronunciation.

@julissful I think it's more like he holds back when he's singing a duet with someone. He very easily takes over songs because his voice is so much more powerful and beautiful, and he tries to hold himself back from doing that, but in doing so stifles his parts.

Hyo did okay, until he started adlibing in the beginning, all the other adlibs fit though. Lena shined with the technical voice again; well-suited for "straight-laced" pop standards/jazz.

There is no intelligent harmony on this...I cannot enjoy this duet one bit...they are going to crazy places with this and none of them make sense together and their voices are too different...he is like jazz, she is like 12 year old Little Mermaid.

no need to be so defensive...most korean singers have no depth of voice and cannot project - they are not natural singers. any korean girl in praise teams could sing like little mermaid. more than a penny a dozen. koreans need better singers to represent. little creativity, originality, soul. pls wear something for your audience as it would be nice since you have a decent voice. and no need to call me retarded, it makes you sound retarded. have a great day.

I'm sorry, but Korean singers are actually great; well, at least to us Koreans. And since this was presented in Korea, and b/c u sound like u prefer some other singers, ur ear may not be used to these kinds of singing styles and may interpret this as "bad singing" or sth like that. Also, they have creativity if u notice that they have changed some parts of the original song, k? Oh yeah, not all Korean singers sound like a little mermaid...

I'd like u to name 1 other singer that sounds like little mermaid. also soul and originality? have u heard of Naul? theres a video up in youtube of him singing One Last Cry and in an interview with Brian McKnight he himself said that Naul sang that song as well or even better than him because of the SOUL and because he completely made the song his own by singing it in his own style.
