Ico scared my sister within the first five minutes, yet I was extremely moved. Since she was hogging the PS2, I looked up walkthroughs and now I've been crying for three weeks about it and she called me a baby. Ico, you are the best videogame I will ever want to play.

That's not an art game award right? The main audience approach of this game doesn't fit an art game. The way the story and gameplay work are really awesome. However in the art level the game design does not reach that level yet. Perhaps the Ico Team will gain it in next game .

Are you talking about the two main characters being the same? I personally don't think so. Since Wander (from Sotc) was the very first child, who actually started this whole "Dormin-horn-curse" and the fact that there have been many generations of horned Kids before Ico, (which you fight against just before entering the Throne-Room), it's not very likely for them to be the same person... In my Opinion Wander was the first and Ico the last cursed Person

@flmae46 It is beautiful, however I do fail to see how it "demonstrates life" lol. One reason of success (imo) is the story has an open ended beginning and much more so the ending, for interpretation. The musical score at the end was really moving too.

@flmae46 I don't think think so. Jet Set Radio was almost like another skateboarding game. ICO, however is an artistic dream with a unique look and cutting edge graphics (for PS2 days). This game set many standards, eg. Art style other games have TRIED to mimic but failed. A man from a western company said he would die a happy man if he made a game like ICO etc.

Are you talking about the two main characters being the same? I personally don't think so. Since Wander (from Sotc) was the very first child, who actually started this whole "Dormin-horn-curse" and the fact that there have been many generations of horned Kids before Ico, (which you fight against just before entering the Throne-Room), it's not very likely for them to be the same person... In my Opinion Wander was the first and Ico the last cursed Person

This game ( and shadow of the colossus) is cool but not my type of game, to much base on emotions and stuff which why I guess there is no dialogue but I need game with a story that can be told to you or found but you can understand. The horse ended up being my favorite character because I didn't care about hero or his girlfriend love whatever you call her I didn't care for the hero's reincarnated horned kid self either.
