@Zain844 I would say that Sagat was OP when both players were beginners. In high level play, his gargantuan atk power mattered less since high level players are less likely to get hit by a mashed out uppercut and other random moves. Some character are also counters to Sagat like Akuma. He can completely shut down Sagat's options. But then again, that is if the player is skilled enough to use Akuma that effectively. Anyway, angry scar is a cool move, so I'm satisfied to an extent.

@FlyThruDAir I actually once beat an high rank Ryu who had like 1000 matches under his belt using Sagat and it was like my 3rd ranked match lol i'm still a beginner and i often get pwned online especially by Ryu players but Sagat is still awesome his EX focus uppercut is still pretty devestating he's got great reach good attack power and easy ultra combos he's great for beginners in my opinion.

Sagat is very overpowerd

he is going to be extremely tweaked in SSFIV, evidence because their is an interview with capcom who admitted that they overpowerd him, along with Seth. They said he cant Roundhouse kick into his ultra anymore, he can still EX dash cancel from a Tiger Uppercut though, his special moves also have a slower recovery, they said their is other tweaks but did not mention them

yes and he have very mindfucking combo where he can variate atacks, like mid-low-high or mid-high-low or mid-low-low or mid-high-high. Plus he can always make a force atack cancel in bettween and graple you. Also don't forget his tech roll. In other words he is a real mindfucker :). Love that character, he is my main now.

Zangief is cheap as far as being the most powerful character in the game, he does more damage then any other character and always has but you do have a point you only get close if you know and can pull off a long combo, hell Abel is annoying when the A.I. uses him all he does is roll back and forth but when another person uses him it's quite fun... and "our" ???I think you meant to spell "or"

Your whole argument is completely true, apart from the last line.

Sagat could do with a slight nerf. Even the company that made him said that.

He has more HP than the average, his damage IS high (which i'm not complaining about, brings more of a challenge when you fight tiger shawt spammers), he has AMAZINGLY EASY links to ultra, just a jump Fierce = ultra. Anti Air into ultra,you can even ex T uppercut into ultra if timed right.

There is conclusive 'evidence' to show he's a tad too strong.

sagat is easily beaten, simply exfocus to dash will jump through fireballs specially abels marselles roll with skip through them, in either case doing this till your close to him (but out of throw range) simple let off combos and everyone should know how to block and punish his health is just a matter of jabbing him with combos, this counts for offline and online, good luck

Completely agree with this statement. Although it is possible to beat him, you can clearly see the balance issues, unless it was capcoms intent to do so. Sucks because my buddy always chooses Sagat and i cant take him down, maybe once if i get lucky.

Hell Get the Alpha version and you will see how they get a wonderful sound to use and just do not get it right. The themes are the remixes played during rival fights. So if somebody isn't somebody elses rival I guess they didn't get a song.
