I never understood why people drained the ramen like that to put the powder on. I learned how to make it by following the instructions, which didn't say a damned thing about draining it... so the first time I was at a friend's house and they put the powder on dry I was confused as to why she thought "you're supposed to make it like that". Yeesh.

The water is ment to be in there as a broth, usaully ramen has other ingredients such as meats, and fish, its ment to come out a bit soupy. With the meats and veg it hold in flavor in the broth.

Its not just a packet of ramen and the seasoning packet, thats just for lazy people or people without time.

Boil the noodles without adding the flavor powder so you you can drain the cloudy white water filled with carbs and loose oil...instead try using a little more water so the egg can cook...drain the water and refill it with warm tap..its healthier

nah just a little tip. boil the water and add the noodles and seasoning really fast so that the noodles while stirring so the flavor sets in the soup without the noodles getting overcooked, making them soggy. after the seasoning and the water combine well then add the egg so itll cook just in time the noodles are done man! enjoy!

I've tried alot of different ways of making it.

My personal favorite is with egg yolk

Step1-Make the ramen in a pot

Step2-Boil 2 eggs

Step3-Peel the eggs and take out the yolk

Step4-Put the yolks in the ramen pot and crush the yolk as much as you can so it blends with the soup.

a how NOT to egg ramen your noodle...TIp..add egg when half way cooked with lid on so it cooks the egg through not when your noodles are done..otherwise it will turn to mush when you have to wait for your egg to cook..and change the water when adding the soup powder base..the taste is cleaner...
