  • now, i dont hate on either car, both are great in their different ways, but let me say this:

    the mclarin, if had 4 turbos, and an upgraded engine, and maybe a few CPU tweaks, would beat the veryon by far....

    think about it, without the turbos, and the engine, the veryon would probaly be around a ferrari, and a lamborghini. the question is: why wont mclarin try that? i mean, put 4 turbos and an up-to-date-engine?

  • @CherylKimberleylover Most likely because it's 987 horsepower to the wheels. It has 1001 on the engine but when you put the engine in the car it reduces the actual horsepower. Like a shelby gt500 for instance, it doesn't have 500 hp.

  • I would prefer because the Zonda is cheaper, it has the ability to turn, it may be slower than the Veyron, but you'll probably never reach the top speed of a Veyron, and IMO the Zonda looks better.

  • Zonda is lighter and turn easier but put the Veyron against any car in a straight drag race and no matter how heavy the Bugatti is it'll win. : )

  • so 1 lap around a track dictates its best time? you could easily lose several seconds around a track, also some cars are suited to different tracks, if this track had long straights it would blow the zonda away.. i am not saying its the fastest around the track, but its rather silly.

    Zonda is balanced, and the track needs balanced performance. Zonda wins.

  • Veyron 0-60 in 2.5 seconds is maybe more impressive than the 400 top speed.

    It's amazingly much faster from the start than any other car.

  • Except the McClaren gets 10 meters ahead when both drag it on a dry course. But then about 15 seconds into the drag race the Veyron blitzes the McClaren...

    There is even a Top Gear video of this on youtube, go check it out mate.

  • @RuudJH That is true but its not a very good car for the track. Yes, u can buy the veyron and get all that hp but they later drove a ferrari fxx (which is cheaper) and it won first place on top. Veyrons r amazimg cars but i dont think they are worth the money. You can also highly tune a car for maybe even a mil cheaper and still get the same results.

  • Awesome work......I am really not surprised that the Bugatti isn't the fastest around the track as it is built for out right speed and acceleration not so much cornering....I still want one though just so I can say 'I can go 400km/h if I want' :P

  • Thanks for the video the bugatti didnt want you to see but we all wanted to see the bugatti on a track :D Now, put it against a 900-1000hp skyline. Ahh..

  • the sky line would a: either blow its shittiy engine. or b get raped. i say both. the skyline only does 150mph stock.

  • It's amazing how they actually get the spinning weight of that huge engine into the wheels so smoothly. And my comment was about seeing what happens and curiosity, not like "skyline is better" =) But imagine if someone tuned the veyron to hp/litre of a reliably tuned skyline, 600hp/2,6litre=1846hp 8litre veyron, they'd be blasting ssc aero's like childplay :p

  • thanks for the vid.. i have been waiting for the stig to get his hands on the bugatti.. im going to be honest and say im not surprised with the result of the veryon.. it looked slow as if it didn't even want to try and get the number one spot.. but its still a veryon and i still want one.. if you compare the bugatti with the gumpert video.. the gumpert was a monster.. if i had a choice, i would pick the zonda.. bugatti is fast but the zonda is pure sex.. a beautiful car and sounds nice!!!
