A barrel floating in the ocean will grow a seaweed farm. It would be easy to create rainforest sized algae farms mid ocean. The seaweed farms would photosynthesis, as well as the lifeforms themselves would be made of carbon.

Just because when one area of the world experiences colder then normal weather dosn't mean climate change isn't happening. Warming=melting of ice sheets/caps which means oceans cool. This means that the climate may cool. The Earth has mechanisms which try to reinstate balance but we are overriding them. Climate change also brings about EXTREME WEATHER EVENTS. Whether they are EXTREME COLD or EXTREME HEAT dose not matter. The point is that they are EXTREME.

what do tornados have to do with "Global Warming." Tornados form when warm and cold air collide and start spinning. I am an avid non believer in global warming.
But look at the benefit. All that great man made reef structure. People will get beach homes without moving. The opposite would result in a much worse situation. A glacier period would result in a massive crop failure, massive starvation, the shore line receding 120 feet down. Cuba and the US will be one continent. Beach homes will be inland homes. Chesapeake bay and the Glades will be empty. You know how bad it will smell. Talk about massive methane release.

A barrel floating in the ocean will grow a seaweed farm. It would be easy to create rainforest sized algae farms mid ocean. The seaweed farms would photosynthesis, as well as the lifeforms themselves would be made of carbon.
Cheap. Proactive. Harmless.
Also mid ocean seaweed (algae) farms could be towed to counties in need for emergency food fuel.
No downside.
Build seaweed farms from shore and tow them out to sea and anchor them. Polluting companies could sponsor the low costs.

Just because when one area of the world experiences colder then normal weather dosn't mean climate change isn't happening. Warming=melting of ice sheets/caps which means oceans cool. This means that the climate may cool. The Earth has mechanisms which try to reinstate balance but we are overriding them. Climate change also brings about EXTREME WEATHER EVENTS. Whether they are EXTREME COLD or EXTREME HEAT dose not matter. The point is that they are EXTREME.

There's a lot that is "going to happen" because it just a part of life. But does it follow that we shouldn't try to control pollution? This thin film around earth we call the biosphere is changing. We are burning about 1,000,000 years of stored carbon EVERY YEAR. The dump site is the atmosphere, the most sensitive part of the biosphere. Its composition is changing and so it the atmosphere's. Those ice ages didn't finish and start over a hundred years they happened over ten of thousands(if that).
Any scientist will also tell you that they were caused by Carbon emissions from naturally sources. That is how the climate regulates itself. These come from trees and oceans.

i live out in the country and my air quality is fine...as for global warming why where the smudge pots out in our orchards for a month and a half longer than normal? we usually dont have to worry about frost six days before the fourth of july. its you city folk that are causing all the problem. 2nd - polar bears hunt at the waters edge - NOT on a massive block of ice where there is no food
they hunt marine animals so they HAVE to be near water or a hole in the ice in order to eat

that's because they are going near towns to find food which doesn't exist in the wild anymore. They are seen near humans now not because there are so many of them but because there's nothing else to eat anywhere.

A quick google search turned up multiple scienceist who say humans contribuite 3.0-3.6% of total co2 emmissions. imagine if ppl wernt around to put out forest fires!!! that alone would probaly be more than the amount of co2 we produce...and the WWF is not exactly a reputable site.

But look at the benefit. All that great man made reef structure. People will get beach homes without moving. The opposite would result in a much worse situation. A glacier period would result in a massive crop failure, massive starvation, the shore line receding 120 feet down. Cuba and the US will be one continent. Beach homes will be inland homes. Chesapeake bay and the Glades will be empty. You know how bad it will smell. Talk about massive methane release.
