But abortion involves two human beings, mother and child. And private insurance plans subsidized by the government mean federal money is going towards abortions.

Why should women's health be regulated by the government more stringently than men's? This is central to equality healthcare. Decisions on health care policy should be driven by equality and science. We should encourage the dual use of condom and birth control, which would eliminate a majority of the need for abortions. We should make adoption easier and remove the stigma. We improved the education system, so every child has a quality education and knows he or she has a bright future. Complex multi-tier solution for a complex multi-tier problem. That is the summary of the pro-choice stance. It is expensive but effective. Sorry, it does not fit into a bumper sticker.

Increased "sex ed" and increased distribution of condoms results in increased pregnancy rates and increased abortions.
One needs to look no further that every study done in the U.S. But if one does, they could easily look to the U.K. where sex ed is exponentially higher, and so is pregnancy and abortion rates.
Why make abortion "extinct" when the overwhelming majority that have them, have no problem with abortion, hence see no need for any "planning"?

If you actually read my statement, you would have noticed that I advocated for two options over abortion: keeping the child and adoption and listed ways to reduce the number of unplanned pregnancies without abortions.

Its a baby growing inside of the uterus, one with its own DNA and independent biological functions that start within minutes of conception. The baby has a heartbeat at 3 weeks and believe it or not, it all happens within a woman's body, not a man's. Unlike global warming, the science on human reproduction actually is settled.
Many years from now we will look back at the U.S. abortion era and it's advocates the same way we do the holocaust and the german citizens' complicity.

It reminds me of a speech i saw by Heinrich Himmler where he talks just as nonchalantly about exterminations in Germany. Just as in the U.S., there were Germans who agreed with the extermination policies and others who vehemently disagreed.

So it was in Stalin's Russia and Hitler's Germany when exterminations were carried out, even nonchalantly, in the name of a larger cause.
