I grew up in a street rod family appreciating each and every old car I came across. Cars had more distinctive individual personality back then than todays computer created multi-platform models companies make just to stay in business. Even the new Camaros, Challengers and Mustangs are simply a makers dangling carrot to lure someone in to buy something and none are anything special really. I always dreamed of building a 40 Ford slantback like Jerry Moreland had in the 80s. Dreams.
Great Pics/Video. Do You travel much for these "hunts" or a hobby? Neat. Been getting into checking out junkyard/muslecarjunk/etc. I see stuff on the road that is sitting off somewhere, sometimes take a look. I need to carry some photo equipment... Good stuff, hope tosee more.
Can you please tell us me where this magical place is I would giggling like a madman at the sight of those tri-five chevys! The 55 Nomad! Oh its a vacation hot spot Where is it ! Please!!!!
@789films it is tragic but the reason why these cars are left like this is simple, the USA is a country with built in obsolecense. It virtually a throw-away society. All car come to a point where they are uneconomically viable e.g. in the 70's car such as this with huge engine capacities like the bel air at 5:43, that car was built in the 50's and by the late 60 and 70's it is long obsolete .That is how consunerism is run
That truck looks so sad at 2:16. He want to be saved!
