Hi, my husband and I are both veterans, don't be scared, he is well trained, trust him. I can understand your fear but you must focus on the positive now and be strong and you will miss him I know, he will adjust and so will you, and the danger depends on what job he has there. If he is infantry they are at the front, more danger, but lots make it back fine remember that, if he is supply or a tech, something like that, than you don't have to worry as much, if at all.
