  • This is a great initiative, having worked with wild leopards, I am proud of these felines,,,

  • isn't puma extinct? tought they dissapeared a couple of years ago. cool too see that theres atleast one left.

  • @HollowClyde Puma is anther name for a cougar or mountain lion, they are not extinct, they're actually very widespread throughout America.

  • leopard 20222

  • 2:05 for bigcatroll

  • SHATS ?

  • LOL 2:16 the leopard is thinking "What are you doing with my poop?!" Great video.

  • are they tamed??

  • @thatcoolrussiankid No, wild species of animals can never be fully tamed...

  • @BigCatRescue but if you go in there cage and like ppet them will they bite?

  • @thatcoolrussiankid We don't have any contact with our cats, but the answer to your question is yes.

  • pause at 2:01

  • leopard is like is she gonna eat it

  • I couldn't find them on facebook D:

  • @90Kirame Big Cat Rescue or Conservation Canines ??

  • @BigCatRescue Conservation Canines :/

  • @90Kirame I will send you the link to their page :)

  • @BigCatRescue Oh, thank you so much! ^^

  • "scat"???

  • "Scat"

  • those dogs wont last very long with all those asains

  • ok, these humans are crazy .. the big cats thinking

  • lol big cat said "weirdos"

  • Do big cats bury their scat like housecats do?

  • @leinadthem The smaller species do, cougars on down to bobcats etc... but the larger species lions, tigers and leopards don't really bury theirs. :)

  • @BigCatRescue Yikes! That must stink!

  • @BigCatRescue A cougar is a small cat!?

  • @racehellish Cougars are classed as "lesser cats" because they purr but cannot roar, Greater cats = lion, tiger, leopard, jaguar, these cats roar but cannot purr :)

  • Wow! Thanks! I had no idea Cougars could purr. lol.

  • damn i want a Panther

  • That is...bizarre.

  • You don't have any jaguars? On the jaguar section of your site it says that there's 1 living at Big Cat Rescue?? I'm confused now haha.

I love what you're doing though. Big cats are such beautiful and amazing animals!

  • @susietheburnout The page must be in need of an update we did have two jaguars but both died from conditions they had before living at the sanctuary :(

  • Awesome video.....greatttttt work ur doing!!!

  • like that concentrated look

  • @FoziaAbdi alright, alright...you got me there. LOL! Well still it seems to sound better on a lion than a leopard. LOL!

  • @Timothy2035 Yeah we have a Simba leopard and a Simba tiger but no lion!? We always keep the names that they have when we rescue them so we're stuck with them either way :)

  • 2:18 he is like "why does she want my feces?"

  • Everything you do is purely magnificent- you're the heroes REALLY making a difference.

  • they named a leopard Simba. How odd since Simba was used as a lion name in a film.

  • 2:17, the look on that leopard's face says it all!!! Great work by the way!

  • @Sirinae Yeah Cheetaro the leopard was like "these people have issues" thanks for watching!

  • @Sirinae LOL dat leopard was like what is she going to do with all that?!!

  • Awe that is so awesome!!! But every time I heard 'scat' I would start laughing. I'm immature at times :p But great work, keep it up!!

  • There is nothing better then good animals helping one another !!!

  • @Glennstar06 Like :)

are there any jaguars at Big Cat Rescue??

    <33 Big Cat Rescue

  • @Cozypup Hi, no we don't have any jaguars at BCR, just leopards :)

  • @Cozypup nope, we don't have jaguars at the sanctuary.

  • @BigCatRescue

    That's alright

At least you give these cats good homes :)

  • It makes me so happy to see tiger conservation in action! I know the situation is extremely dire for the wild tiger. Sometimes I feel so helpless and sad that I cannot personally do more to help. Thanks for sharing this video! It made my day!

  • @scnightowl Good, thanks for watching!

  • who knew poop could save lives.

  • They are such beautiful animals, both the dogs and the cats. I agree with the leopard. Those humans are weirdos.

  • dude these are some beautiful animals..truley sad they can't be free without being man-handeld by people.

  • Maybe this is a dumb question but why didn't you guys just use tiger scat? Why use leopard scat if the dogs will be used for scenting tiger scat? Maybe I missed something. No offense or anything intended. Just curious. Keep up the good work guys!

  • @captmicha They're not looking for tigers, they're looking to re-introduce the tigers. My guess is the leopards have something to do with the necessary components of a healthy tiger habitat.

  • @captmicha That is what we wondered, we guessed that the leopard poop is obviously very similar so they can use this smaller and lighter poop to train the dogs, then when they are out in the field the dogs can detect both species regardless.

  • That's interesting. Good job.

Remains of the two brothers of tigers I watched once.

  • 2:18 lol "what're you doin??"

  • nice names

  • were you all doing this project for earth day?

  • @asgher786 Not specifically, we just produced the video at the same time :)

  • wow such beautiful animals! can i ask you a question? is it true that the hyena jaws are stronger than a lions jaws?

  • @zumbug333 I'm not from bigcatrescue but the hyena jaws are stronger than a lions. I don't know the exact specs so to speak but the hyenas have incredibly power jaws. Try googeling this, very interesting.

  • @TheHawaiiantiger

I heard that hyenas dna is more similar to cats than it is to dogs.

  • @altarush You are right. I haven't done much research on this since I primary work with Tigers. But I know this is true. Good observation. You got me interested in checking this out :) Thank you.

  • i love cats, big or small.but my favorties is the tiger and the lion

  • It is very strange, sometimes it seems you care about the animals, and some stories tell the complete opposite. What do you say abot this? lɯʇɥ˙uıʞsɐq‾ʇuıɐldɯoɔ‾ǝnɔsǝɹʇɐɔƃıq/ƃɹo˙sʇnlslɐɯıuɐ˙ʍʍʍ//:dʇʇɥ

  • LOL the leopard was like... Uhhh yeah sure you can have my .. droppings. O.O

  • Thumb up! :D

  • The Feline Family! lol joking. Awesome names you guys give them! Poor tigers...

  • Those cats were looking at the keepers like "What the...why are you taking my poop?"

  • lol right at the beginning that music made me think i was listening to astronomy cast! i was waiting for the piano to come in!

  • What do you feed your canines?

  • @ayesha080 I'm not sure what "Conservation Canines" feed their scat detecting dogs, if you "like" them on facebook you could ask the question and they'll respond to it, thanks for watching :)

  • Great video.

    Thanks!

  • 2:05 - 2:10 is soooo cute! He surely enjoyed his home so much. :)

  • LOL, i love how the cats are like "whaaat?" when you're scooping the poop :P

  • It's original !

  • very good

  • I have some cool cat names too. Crouton,Squishy,Sturdenbear! Who else has cool animal names?

  • Giving a dog a job sniffing out poop must be like giving a kid a job in a candy store - but score one for the brilliant folks who thought of it!

  • @andiwindsparrow Agreed. They are probably thinking that this is the best job in the history of jobs.

  • It's great to see Active Conservation efforts going on over in Asia... you guys at Big Cat Rescue are awesome for the time, effort, and love you put into the cats, I wish I wasn't 4 hours away from tampa or i'd be a volunteer.

Keep up the good work :)!

  • @DEIGirl8 Thanks for the support! 4 hours is just a short drive lol :)

  • "wierdos"

  • I like the look the leopard is giving at 2:17: What on earth is that woman doing with my scat???

  • @ 2:16 u can feel the leopard thinking: I'm sorry for u!

    lol

But seriously, keep up the good work.

  • @Tyannalyn beautiful arent they :)

  • This is very cool. I lol'ed at the Weirdos comment.

  • :D thanks for helping the kitties!

  • This is awsome!

  • Wow you just never know how you can help out lol it all works out in the end I guess. how do you come up with all the cool name for the animals ??

  • @ragingbull124 Exactly! We keep all the names our cats have when we rescue them, we have some good ones :)

  • @BigCatRescue wait how does the leopords poop help can you plz reply??

  • @harmless1231 The leopard poop is obviously similar to tiger poop so they can train the dogs using this and out in the field the dogs are able to detect either species :) Sorry for the late reply!

  • @BigCatRescue its ok so this could save the tigers

  • @BigCatRescue Have you rescued any cats that you ended up having to name?

  • @daisyvision We have, wild bobcats that have been injured that we then rehab and release, we name these cats, plus the three cougar kittens we rescued that were orphaned by a hunter in idaho and just this past week we rescued three bobcat kittens that were also orphaned by a hunter, so we got to name these cats too! Watch out for a very cute video!

  • @BigCatRescue Does your organization have Jaguars. Jaguars are my favorite big cats and it would be nice if i can see one when i come down to visit.

  • @d3r0n Nope, we don'y have jaguars, we were just filming in a unique area of Mexico that has jaguars, cougars, ocelots and bobcats, keep watching for the video!
