According to Billy West in an interview, fox executives have been "making noise" about a 6th season in episode format.

I would love that. If any show deserves to come completely back from the dead... it's Pushing Daisies but THEN Futurama ;-)

As long as it coming back doesn't ruin it, that's the only thing I'm worried about (like what happened to Family Guy and Ren & Stimpy)

Well, it's going to be challenging for the writer, but I think for the show to come back in episode format, the quality for the show could still remain. Matt Greoning and Cohen have expressed that their story ideas have not been exhausted, and the movies themselves have created a lot of plots that would fit perfectly if it returns.

And the difference between family guy and Futurama is Originality. So I'm sure it will revive even stronger than it did last time.

Here's hoping.

I'm pretty sure that Matt Groening said that about the Simpsons, so I'm worried. The movies, to me were all right, but they paled in comparison to the earlier seasons. I grown to lovethe first Futurama "movie", I liked the 2nd one, but I did not like Bender's Game. However, I haven't watched the last one. I love Futurama, but I don't want it to lose it's integrity and I certainly don't want Futurama to end up like the Simpsons. *Shudders*
