The new administration is in a bind. Just think how crazy the right will go if there ARE prosecutions. They'd call Obama a totalitarian (they're completely impervious to irony) and claim Republicans were being persecuted for dissent. The Neocons have effectively shit on the idea of Habeas Corpus with their arrogance. Torture is being no better than being a terrorist, so it kinda makes our own CIA and NSA terrorist organizations in the eyes of the world since the idea of civility has went out the window.

by the way, I was a Republican delegate for Ron Paul, but could not vote for McCain because I will never condone a war mongering fool as commander and chief.
