Why do people who are not Christians care what Christians say about anything? If they dont agree or whatever, what is the point? Most people set out to speak about what they are for, that is where true passion is at when speaking about something. A negative comment on a topic specific link just looks stupid for the negative person. Christians look at these negative comments and just pray for the people saying them. Is that what you really want? If so bring it on. I need to pray more anyway!
@nojoishox Why do people who are christians care what non-christians say about anything? HAHA
A Christian's round about way of thinking is somewhat of a problem for some other non-christians. your religious beliefs defy any logic and rationality. When those ideas and beliefs start to impinge on non-christians' way of life it creates a problem.
It is funny trying to get all you christians to explain something definitively. Mainly because you cant! Seriously though, why is your god the right god?
I often wonder what makes people wanna comment on how God isn't real on every christian video I watch on you tube. I wonder if these same people comment on allah not being real or shiva or any other religion. I think the reason is there is a spiritual battle being waged that isn't concerned with any false religion. It's main concern is trying to stop you from considering that Christ died for your sins. Your entitled to you opinion but are you sure they are yours?
I often wonder what makes Christians believe god is true. I wonder if these Christians are aware of the other religions throughout the world also being true. I think the reason is that there is a psychological battle being waged in their brains that is not concerned with the real world. Its main concern is trying to stop you from considering the tangible evidence that contradicts Christianity. You're entitled to your opinion, but are you sure they're yours (and not your pastor's/parents)?
very nicely you played lead guitar in your delhi concert when Hillsong Austraila was came with joyce mayer. I love Hillsong. and I saw lot of videos of your. really you are doing a great job for our new generation so that they come near to Jesus. Awesome work you are doing. Reuben and Darlene, marty, Rolf all is my fav. God use all of you in his vision. I also want to learn guitar like you.
Does anyone know where you can buy hillsong instructional videos such as this but will all the other parts as well?? Along with that, maybe the parts to othersongs as well??
@gotthebeat92 You don't have to buy them. They're all here on youtube. Google "Hillsong Live God is Able Instrument Parts" and three videos (lead guitar, drums, and keys) should show up that have links to all the songs.
and look in the related videos for other instruments, or you can jump to any other instrument during a song by just clicking it's little video in the corner. It's pretty sweet!
@MrcolasR I read on Twitter that he used the Maxon Overdrive pro for the intro and then stacked the Mullholland Drive for the rest of the song. And for the delay, I wouldnt be surprised if he used the Nova Delay.
i learned a lot from this guy... :) especially when it comes to mixing up the notes anywhere on the guitar to create a chord or arpeggio wherein you can just mix them up to fit in the song parts nicely. learn every note on the guitar and you'll figure out what he's doing... :)
then back to 8th fret on b then 7th on e and back to the 10th on b, the instrumental after that is startng 7th from cappo on g string then down to 5 down to 4 down to 2 all on g then up a string to 4th and 5th frets on D string then start over and the variation is 7th fret g string, then 4th then 2th and slide into the 5th on g string. he's actually using his ring and middle finger to dampen out the other strings and his pinky is obv four notes away two strings down (play around with it) and
he is holding the full chords fingering I guess but the last chord is just the notes 2nd fret on the d string again and the 1st fret on the b string. he plays the STRINGS like d g d e b. and then looks like he just loops the same notes till he moves to the chorus which is (figure out the strumming by ear k, the notes are - relative to capo - 7th fret g string, 8th fret b string 10th fret b string then back to the 8th fre on the b string. the variation to that is that he goes to 10th fret d
The first chord he picks through after the main riff is is 5th fret on the d string, 4th fret on the g string and 3rd fret on the b string and he picks it in the order d g d b g and then he slides those same notes forward and drops his middle and index finger down a fret below(same picking pattern I think) and then 3rd chord is 2nd fret d string and 3rd fret b string you pick d string open g string d string and then b string and then play 4th fret g string and the last chord is
lol it is somewhat difficult to see exactly where he is, but I guess we'd have to figure it out , for the intro he's capo'd on the fourth fret (obviously) and then he's playing on the e and b strings. looks like it goes (counting from the capo) on the e string 5-5-3-5-5-5-3 -- 7-8-8-7 -- 5-5-3-5-5-5-3, then on the b string above it's 3-5-5 into the 3 on the e string and you just start all over again and that's that main riff.
if he has all his pedals running through a controller, then showing us which controller button he's stepping on doesn't help us with figuring out which effect is being used or how the effect is dialed in.
@rockstar4jc I agree it seems like they are just showing off their pedalbaords hah. But when the pedalboard does appear you know then that another pedal is being engaged or disengaged, so by ear you can sort of guess which pedal he turns on or off.
