  • Many thanks for adding the film, my dad was born in Wexford in 1911 so very interesting to see how life was in Wexford at his time of life

  • after seeing this footage I would love to find out about getting any of the photos of this footage as the woman selling fish is my great great great grandmother. if anyone have information please let me know

  • the narater mentions poverty .but everyone looks healthy and in good spirits some very well dressed . people walking about .no overweight spoilt children like these days.

  • the old lady who is sitting down is selling herring, she is a relative of the block dempsey's of Bishopswater. and hailed from the selskar area of town, her name was nellie tumbleton.... did you notice that all the men are wearing hats or caps.... is it dollans that's written over the door....where mackens is today? also look at the police man... he is an RIC (Royal Irish Constabulary) police man..not one of our garda.... as we know them today.... Up Wexford.....
