This is the perfect song for the circumstances leading up to, during, and after this particular battle in Allan Wake: If you're playing the game on easy (you obviously are if you're faceing a few easy taken) then you should be able to pay enough attention to the story to realize pretty much the whole situation of the game. Its a song about persevering. Alan never had his wife there either, but she inspired strength in him to fight on. Essentially there the whole time.

@bleco123fan ok, it came out a month earlier than alan wake, but it's the ORIGINAL sondtrack of Alan Wake, it's logical that everyone knows it from the game. The composer himself said that his band collabored with Remedy for the composition of the two songs for the soundtrack.

So I wonder why a "true music lover" should know the song regardless of alan wake...
