Just like the Superbowl, you are only as good as your last game/dance, her freestyle was boring and stale and I am a fan and watched only for her. I was pissed off at her partner who is suppose to choreograph a showstopper and made her dance that boring routine. Donnie's freestyle was great, he killed it for his stlye . She had to knock him out and she didn't and he "cleaned her clock" plain and simple.

DWTS is about the dance & so much more.Now that it's over, I don't feel like I know Mya any better than before.She's always reserved, sophisticated, & articulate.Maybe if she had showed more emotion & personality, & chewed on Dimitri for some of his decisions, the voters @ home would have empathized more with her.But, she's a great dancer & singer & Actually, she could have taught Dimitri a few things.I'm looking forward to seeing what she does next!!
Mya was right about their freestyle. It should have been more daring. Their freestyle was too safe at this level of finals. It was lame. If only Dmitry had gone with a better routine.
Mya should have won! Bottom line. Donny was and never will be the better dancer. Donny's freestyle wasn't all that hot, in my opinion. He shouldn't have won!!! She was robbed.

I'm saying that she came on to this show already the best dancer. In my opinion, very few of her performances have been stellar. She's capsble of so much more & didn't live up to her potential. . she has natural rythem,picture -perfect form & technique, is beautifu & sexy-so where was the problem? Either she didn't put in the necessary hours or her partner 'screwed 'her..I think he was intimidated by her ability & kept her reigned in.The choreography never showcased her a talent.

Dimitri seems focused only on himself .

Mya just admitted, albeit reluctantly, that she has been dancing on a sprained ankle for 5 weeks! Spread the word on the forums because they need to know what a true champ does!
Abc fixed this so that it can appear that the final is closer than it is! Look at Mya in the aftershow interviews, if it was Dmitry's fault, she would would be mad at him but she was all giggles with him and didn't blame him once. You guys need to get the word out on the ABC board because people are saying that Mya treats Dmitry bad and is mean to him
Hmmm this is one time where I hope the fix is in....at least then Mya would win. I must admit that this routine was a head scratcher, even though she performed it flawlessly. The obvious choice would have been to go with Mya's selection of a vegas number, but I'm sure that would have sealed the deal, considering Dima's great choreo and Mya's brilliant dancing.
Dimitry needs to get slapped in the face. He should have listened to Mya. I hope this doesn't cost them. Even though Kelly fell flat on her behind, her freestyle had more UMPH to it. I hope this doesn't cost her the win. Cheryl and Gilles free style was wack and they ended up being second to Shawn and Mark.
I cannot agree more that Dmitry needs the s*** beat out of him for this. He should've listened to what Mya wanted. She is the star! Not him. Freestyle dance is when he should've let her taken control. But I am still going to give all my votes for her to win. No one dance is going to make me turncoat when all the freestyles sucked. DMYA FTW. (get over to ABC and vote for her to win now!!!)
So underwhelming. Both freestyles lacked any pizzaz and fun. The past seasons have made the freestyles so much fun but this was boring.

I don't think it was bad and boring, but it lacked content. Donnie wasn't much better.
I notice that a lot seems to depend on the freestyle.

i totally agree. i think the person that choreographs the best freestyles is probably Mark Ballas. His are always so much fun to watch!
