Twilight doesn't suck. It sucks now simply because fans ruined it. How you may ask?

1. starting the whole Team Edward and Team Jacob.

2. The media.

3. the movie adaptions

The books are actually written very well, but the movie adaptions cut out so much stuff out, when the finally product came out, the movie seemed a mushy gushy teen drama, than a almost survival for love and hatred towards different races war. that's why Twilight sucks now.

I will admit, Twilight does have major flaws. I can't really stand to pick up the book without being reminded of the psychotic fandom that's circulating around it and spreading faster than AIDS. I got into Twilight before the huge outburst of fans erupted a couple years back. I liked the book, but I never thought it was the most amazing thing ever. I appreciated the creative (though sometimes odd) takes on vampires. Anne Rice still kicks Stephanie Meyer's ass. (I prefer Meyer's 'The host')
