I complained to the BBC using the complaints link at the bottom of their homepage. They said they'd never meant to do a second show - rubbish, given how many loose ends were left. But they said all complaints were passed to senior managers - so we should all complain that we want a second series. After all, our licence fee pays for their salaries - so why shouldn't we get what we want!

Did you actually get a reply from them? I haven't heard at all.. and I have now sent 2 complaints to them. Its frustrating that they will listen to a small number complaints from the public about silly things like the disabled children's presenter, yet when we say how much we loved a series, and asked for more, they won't pay any attention. The BBC just doesn't realise how much the public love this series. They are also forgetting the really good viewing figures it got when it was opposite major football matches every week! No. It just uses music one doesn't expect for a show like this, I think primarily to be surprising. The focus of the show is a fractioned family and how that separation affects their local community, partially in the form of musical competition.

"All the Small Things" appears to have a wide-ranging audience, given its time slot on BBC One. Akin to "Doctor Who". By definition, I am biased, since I loved this presentation enough to upload a video of it. Hee hee!

Since this is a BBC UK show, it doesn't have the same mandates as American television, like "Greek".

I wasn't aware that Blink-182 was so hugely ubiquitous. I think that the adaptation of their music in several episodes of this show has been pretty amazing, along with All American Rejects and My First Hello. It's interesting how this show has brought that music to a wider audience.
