I just used this today and I do really like it and I'll probably continue just using this (partly because I'm too lazy to try anything else right now). I do have to say that when I was dotting it on my face and spreading it with a sponge it dries a little too fast for my taste and it absorbed into my sponge way too quick (thats probably because I was using a crappy sponge though). I use honey beige and it matches my skin pretty well which is great because my skin never matches anything

I really wants something for winter for my dry skin.. And I use foundation almost everyday to school, I want something that lasts. I am thinking about getting this 24h foundation. Do you think it's going to work? :)

I just got this foundation and I usually use a Max Factor stick foundation, but I love this foundation! I usually just use my fingers, but I use my Philosophy multiuse brush. I didn't like the Photo Ready foundation, not enough coverage and too shimmery. I don't like the bottle either, but I don't waste alot of product either. I also liked the fact that there were "testers" out for this in my Walgreens. I'm the same shade as you! :)

@limpidd you should use the color pure beige i use it but i have pink undertones but my sister uses the same color and she has yellow undertones and it seems to match well on both of us

(2) Color Selection. If this foundation had the shade range of Loreal's True Match? It would completely DISTROY every other drugstore foundation [imho.]. Thanks to YOU, I love it. But the Porcelain Ivory is too dark for me, so I mix it with my Lorac's Natural Performance Foundation. [trying to use it up. It's lovely though.]
I LOVE this foundation!! I switched over to Bare Minerals 5 years ago b/c there were no real good liquid foundations out there for my combo skin. Recently I wanted to try a drugstore brand liquid foundation for those times when I don't want to use my expensive mineral foundation--like if I'm just going out for a few hrs. I got it 40% off at my local CVS and it is the BEST drugstore foundation I have EVER worn. I wont change my Bare Minerals but this gives me a cheap alternative.

Oh my! I had the PhotoReady and you said you wanted to delete it because you like this one so much more so I had to get it. You were right. Wish I knew that $14 ago, but I do like SuperStay and the Revlon really made dry patches obvious and didn't last that long. Thanks for helping me see the light because I only bought it cuz you said it was THAT much better.
and for anyone who is struggling with picking out a color, but know your mac shade, go on to temptalia's site (i just typed in temptalia matrix shades onto google and it took me straight to the page she links it to).. and she has TONS of foundations that have matches for mac colors! it's amazing! :) this foundation is on the list! :) hope that helps someone!
I must have a look! I think I may be darker than NC30 ish because I'm the same shade as Lisalisad1 and she's over nc30 or something, I think? The nc25 studio fix powder gina got me is wayy light for me, and I have an nc25 foundation which is too light.. the best I can think as to why i'm not as pale is I don't do glycolic peels so much anymore. probably lightened me? any ideas?
yes, glycolic peels are probably the reason why your face is lighter. i've never had one, but i've heard from friends that their's has lightened from it. the next shade up is an nc35 and then nc37. if you know any other shades that you are in other foundations, you can check that way as well. i know she bases it off of mac shades, but u can go to the shade you are in 1 foundation, and then follow it all the way down to any other foundation. hope that makes sense!
oh ps.. I didn't see a classic beige, just nude and natural beige at rite aid.. I'll have to check and compare the classic beige next time I see it, but def. don't get a line of demarkation from my current shade. xoxo
i went to the store before i seen your comment about you being close to an nc30... so i checked two colors, classic beige and your's. the one you have was definitely darker on me which i thought was strange.

Since I have combo oily skin,I find this foundation doesnt control my oil as good as the Revlon Colorstay and if you have oily skin,this foundation isnt going to last as long either,and I have been wearing it,on and off for months,so I really like my revlon colorstay more..in that respect.But thats just me..the maybelline wears ok,dont get me wrong,but I prefer my Revlon colorstay much more!
I properly moisturize, exfoliate my skin regularly, use non drying foundations, don't set foundation w/ powder and also use a cream blush :) takes a bit to make my dry skin look this way haha hugs!
I actually like my Colorstay better. Colorstay lasts all day on me, but Superstay is gone by lunch. I have really oily skin though so maybe that's why.

I got this foundation about 3 months ago and I love it. I agree it is my favorite drugstore foundation. I have many high end foundations but this is right up there with some of them if not better... The only one I like more is my Korres and My Chanel Pro lumier. Other than that its even better than some of my high end stuff. Its that good!
Great review!! I bought this foundation a few weeks ago and I am loving it...I like it a lot better than my Revlon colorstay. I think it is the perfect finish for me!! I agree with you about the bottle, it is a little bit of a pain to get the product out. But otherwise I love it!!
ok so i liked the photoready foundation but i did notice that it had little shimmers in it, which i didnt like because it accentuated my pores. My question is Does this foundation have any shimmers or iridescence to it?
Hi! This foundation has absolutely no shimmer. Its more on the matte side, but somehow is brightening on my skin(not dewy), so isn't flat which is why I consider it more of a satin finish.
with aging skin, it's so tricky! Things cake up easier and settle and accentuate everything! This, I think, doesn't, and hopefully you find your shade and it works for you! xoox

on ME, it absolutely does stay all day. Even longer than Colorstay if not as long. However, If you have oily skin it MAY be a different experience for you. 3layerzdeep has oily skin and she says it does.
i can answer this 4 u if u don't mind, i own it, med to full coverage, buildable, apply it w/fingers or foundation brush, or sponge, lasts all day on ur skin hence 24hrs, i have oily skin, and it lasts all day, i switch between colorstay and this one..u'll like it i promise...
I'm dry and it lasts ALL day on me. I see Jazzy spoke for oily, and for my skin is 12hrs at least. I don't wear it for 24 so Im not sure about that LOL

Absolutely not for me. I don't even prime and I don't have to set it with powder because it lasts so well on its own which is great for us w/ dry skin!
Gina, Does this dry fast like the 24 hr concealer? So far all your recommendations are spot on...but I personally hated revlon Photo Ready the moment I put it on my skin. But I have to try this cause if it is anything like it's concealer, that u also recommended than it must be awesome. Before I found the right shade in CStay. Bought 4 different shades..so at least I have them for changing of the seasons. Hope I find the correct color.

I hear both are good for oily because the photoready is mattifying but it has some kind of micro glimmers to make it not appear dry or matte, but for a solid product I'd recommend colorstay.
the colours are terrible for fair skinned people. I bought porcelain ivory, the lightest colour, I am nc15 in mac, it is way too pink so I make sure I buff a lot and use powder over, I do like the foundation though, but the same problem over and over with drugstore foundations, they never make them for light skinned girls.

I have been using the maybeline for about two weeks now and I noticed being extremely oily around the t zone, I have to say I have comb. skin, but the oilyness wasn't as severe as with the revlon colorstay that I have prob used for 8 years..also the shade I have has a yellow undertone. I love that it covers all my blemishes ...will use a primer from now on

I'd say I'm around a N30 or so with the Natural Beige. It's sorrta pink but not as bad as the others. I think Nude which isn't really much lighter is pretty yellowish so maybe try that? hugs

I love this foundation even more than the colorstay that everyone seems to love...
and it doesn't have the stink.
But I can't find one that matches my color.
I'm hispanic, with yellow undertones and light skin, I have the shade nude but it's too yellow and the rest are almost orange/pink.
You said classic ivory was too pink? On the website it looks more yellow, It's so misleading. :(
Did you look at the shade Sand Beige? I'm wondering if its more yellow.

I think that it covers pores better than the colorstay. colorstay can be so cakey to me that it accentuates flaws. That's just me, though.

and for anyone who is struggling with picking out a color, but know your mac shade, go on to temptalia's site (i just typed in temptalia matrix shades onto google and it took me straight to the page she links it to).. and she has TONS of foundations that have matches for mac colors! it's amazing! :) this foundation is on the list! :) hope that helps someone!

I must have a look! I think I may be darker than NC30 ish because I'm the same shade as Lisalisad1 and she's over nc30 or something, I think? The nc25 studio fix powder gina got me is wayy light for me, and I have an nc25 foundation which is too light.. the best I can think as to why i'm not as pale is I don't do glycolic peels so much anymore. probably lightened me? any ideas?

yes, glycolic peels are probably the reason why your face is lighter. i've never had one, but i've heard from friends that their's has lightened from it. the next shade up is an nc35 and then nc37. if you know any other shades that you are in other foundations, you can check that way as well. i know she bases it off of mac shades, but u can go to the shade you are in 1 foundation, and then follow it all the way down to any other foundation. hope that makes sense!

i went to the store before i seen your comment about you being close to an nc30... so i checked two colors, classic beige and your's. the one you have was definitely darker on me which i thought was strange.
i've been wearing it the last couple of days and i absolutely love it! i totally agree that it is definitely similar to the nars sheer glow! almost dead on! thank you so so much for your review! i would have never purchased it if it weren't for you!

Since I have combo oily skin,I find this foundation doesnt control my oil as good as the Revlon Colorstay and if you have oily skin,this foundation isnt going to last as long either,and I have been wearing it,on and off for months,so I really like my revlon colorstay more..in that respect.But thats just me..the maybelline wears ok,dont get me wrong,but I prefer my Revlon colorstay much more!

I can see that. This is much thinner and doesn't have a combo oily version to it. Foundation is a hit or miss soo based on skin type. hugs!

I properly moisturize, exfoliate my skin regularly, use non drying foundations, don't set foundation w/ powder and also use a cream blush :) takes a bit to make my dry skin look this way haha hugs!

I actually like my Colorstay better. Colorstay lasts all day on me, but Superstay is gone by lunch. I have really oily skin though so maybe that's why.

I got this foundation about 3 months ago and I love it. I agree it is my favorite drugstore foundation. I have many high end foundations but this is right up there with some of them if not better... The only one I like more is my Korres and My Chanel Pro lumier. Other than that its even better than some of my high end stuff. Its that good!

Great review!! I bought this foundation a few weeks ago and I am loving it...I like it a lot better than my Revlon colorstay. I think it is the perfect finish for me!! I agree with you about the bottle, it is a little bit of a pain to get the product out. But otherwise I love it!!

ok so i liked the photoready foundation but i did notice that it had little shimmers in it, which i didnt like because it accentuated my pores. My question is Does this foundation have any shimmers or iridescence to it?

Hi! This foundation has absolutely no shimmer. Its more on the matte side, but somehow is brightening on my skin(not dewy), so isn't flat which is why I consider it more of a satin finish.

on ME, it absolutely does stay all day. Even longer than Colorstay if not as long. However, If you have oily skin it MAY be a different experience for you. 3layerzdeep has oily skin and she says it does.

i can answer this 4 u if u don't mind, i own it, med to full coverage, buildable, apply it w/fingers or foundation brush, or sponge, lasts all day on ur skin hence 24hrs, i have oily skin, and it lasts all day, i switch between colorstay and this one..u'll like it i promise...

I'm dry and it lasts ALL day on me. I see Jazzy spoke for oily, and for my skin is 12hrs at least. I don't wear it for 24 so Im not sure about that LOL

Gina, Does this dry fast like the 24 hr concealer? So far all your recommendations are spot on...but I personally hated revlon Photo Ready the moment I put it on my skin. But I have to try this cause if it is anything like it's concealer, that u also recommended than it must be awesome. Before I found the right shade in CStay. Bought 4 different shades..so at least I have them for changing of the seasons. Hope I find the correct color.

I hear both are good for oily because the photoready is mattifying but it has some kind of micro glimmers to make it not appear dry or matte, but for a solid product I'd recommend colorstay.

the colours are terrible for fair skinned people. I bought porcelain ivory, the lightest colour, I am nc15 in mac, it is way too pink so I make sure I buff a lot and use powder over, I do like the foundation though, but the same problem over and over with drugstore foundations, they never make them for light skinned girls.

I have been using the maybeline for about two weeks now and I noticed being extremely oily around the t zone, I have to say I have comb. skin, but the oilyness wasn't as severe as with the revlon colorstay that I have prob used for 8 years..also the shade I have has a yellow undertone. I love that it covers all my blemishes ...will use a primer from now on

I noticed the pink tones too, which is bad for me because i have a lot of redness in my face. i am naturally a very light shade, would you reccomend the nautural beige for me? does that seem to be less pink?

I'd say I'm around a N30 or so with the Natural Beige. It's sorrta pink but not as bad as the others. I think Nude which isn't really much lighter is pretty yellowish so maybe try that? hugs
