hey im thinking about gettting this bike, how is it on xc-ish trails? i need something that i can ride to the top of a hill, but can easly bomb the down hills.
There's no weight details on there because it depends on the build (frame size, wheel size, tyre choice etc etc)....but typically (from net boffins reviews) it looks like the BOTH come in at around 42-44 pounds on average.
Hrmm, in that case I'll prob go with dirtbag cuz it looks a lot easier to pedal, plus I want 2 rings up front. Ahhhh, now all I have to do is win the lottery! I bet you could put Saint hollow cranks and a Fox Van 36 on there and keep it around 38 LBs. Happy riding ya'll!

LOL...great call dude! Seems like a decent all mountain bike, tho I am not sure I would be throwin' it off anything real big!

Yeah, I'm debating between the Gran Mal and the Dirtbag. Do you know the weight difference? Can't find the specs on the website.
