Wow. Great singing from June, especially considering she's what, 56? I had never heard Jordi until now, and it's a voice I really like.

J'y étais aussi (les deux fois). Historique selon moi. Et pourtant on trouve des commentaires sur d'autres sites pour démolir de fond en comble ce qu'elle a fait. Comme quoi, s'il n'y avait qu'un goût il n'y aurait qu'une sauce. Moi j'en redemande. Et je rêve d'une version scénique. June était absolument merveilleuse... Quel chanceux vous êtes davoir assisté aux 2 représentations ! Pour ce qui est des critiques..il en faut bien, mais elles ne sont pas toujours étudiées certain(e)s défendant corps et âme leur diva/divo sans vraiment s'intéresser à dautres références ! je retiendrai votre propos sur le goût et la sauce. Dautres clips suivent. Un grand bravo à Liège et à la Belgique pour avoir réalisé ce vrai bijou !

Oui, j'y suis allée hier après-midi! Et j'ai même eu les larmes aux yeux à certains moments. J'étais au quatrième rang : vision de l'orchestre et des choeurs nulle mais par contre j'étais juste en face de nos Jordi, Anderson et Palazzi.

J'avoue que Ismael Jordi et Mirco Palazzi m'ont fortement impressionnée. J'ai essayé de les retrouver sur youtube mais c'est difficile de trouver une vidéo qui comble mes oreilles. .

June sounds in very good voice! Thanks so very much for posting this. How was the rest of the performance? What did you think of Jordi?

I personally consider this performance as exceptional ! For Anderson of course : as usual professional, pure, natural, intense and emotional singing without any unnecessary fioriture, but also for the 3 other leading parts. Yesterdays performance was broadcast (a few hours after it actually took place) on Belgium radio so one can expect more from these performances, before the other video clips I may post, in order to appreciate more of this

I was very, very impressed by Jordi (the first time I attended a performance with him). His teacher was Alfredo Kraus it says a lot on Jordis singing and behavior ! Just a real jewel in that part!

Apparently we attended the same concert :D I was very happy with it (except that the seats were very uncomfortable on the balcony - looks like you were in one of the side boxes where one actually had some space for the knees). I was very pleased with the leading parts. It was the first time I went to see June, but I was stunned - as expected. I had heard Ismael Jordi twice before (in Amsterdam - Lucia and La Traviata), and I am definitely a fan of his :)

Actually I also was on the first balcony on the right hand side. I am not tall but it is true the seating is quite uncomfortable! The sound mainly the orchestra (although you get used to it) was weirdthis hall does not seem to be appropriate but classical performances. As for Jordi, I am dying to attend other performances with him in other

Cest vrai mais, peut-être y étiez vous aussi?, le son dans la salle nétait pas extraordinaire. Malgré la disposition de panneaux en bois au fond de la scène, ce nest pas vraiment une salle conçue pour ce genre de concert. Dommage que cela nait pas eu lieu dans la salle de lopéra !
