From the day I first saw the trailer,I "got" Grindhouse.I've been following movies like this since they published "The Golden Turkey Awards".After its short run in the multiplex,I saw it at our local art-house theater,a Saturday midnight show.That KICKED ASS.

It f*cking SUCKS this isn't on DVD.All I've got is a recording of when the entire thing was on Encore.NOT.GOOD.ENOUGH.

Grindhouse officially rocks. I didn't enjoy sitting on my ass for three hours but thank God for the pause button! I think I heard that they'll release the box set soon. Check on Wikipedia.

Just gotta let you know, I have a Japanese DVD player and you can remove the Japanese subtitles while watching the movie just like when watching an a movie here that might have German or Spanish subtitles. However, the Region 2 is probably the biggest problem since it won't work on your DVD player, unless of course you have a region 2 player

I recently bought that 6 disc boxset and it's awsome!

The Japanese title screens don't really cause any problems because it's all the same extras as other editions.

I'm from the UK so it being Region 2 didn't matter to me, but in the US you'll need a Region Free DVD player (or just use a computer).

But, I gave up waiting for and English version!!!
