It's not too bad for the start of a good platformn game. I would consider adding a life system and maybe a graphic of your character's gun that he shoots. Also, the jumping system needs a little work. I noticed you had trouble advancing to level 2 because it was hard to get through. Good luck on your game!

A good job for your first game, but you might want to have a better FPS on your recordings, I suggest using Camastia Studio 5.

good first game! needs back music or sumthin or it is quite dull but if you need help check out my game maker vids! they tell you how to shoot with mouse, reload, use ammo, and make enemies shoot at you! 5/5 by the way!

there is a book called the gamemakers apprentice. however i would recomened becoming a drag and drop expert before even attempting gml
