@relishldm- That's for sure. I shot that on a Panasonic GS 120 3CCD camera back in 2005. I love my GoPro now although I still have a bigger CX-110 that I use sometimes.
I´m 15 and i've never skydived in my life so i'm sorry that i'm asking kind of stupid question: I saw some videos where guys get cutaway? so why they get cutaway and what can I do for not getting cutaway?
@DeutscherInPANIK Well they don't actually "get cutaway" as if its a malfunction or are diagnosed with it as some sort of disease. Most of the time(hopefully all of the time) its intentional. If a skydiver is having a malfunction with his main that he can not fix or recover from he will chop it or "cut it away" then deploy his reserve. If your jumping a base specific rig make sure you don't cut that sucker away cause that's the only chance you get. Assuming the rig has that option. Cheers!
dont watch this like they have parachute but watch it like many have fallen from mountians with out parachute its fucking scary this are the last seconds of their life
@QWERTYFELL -- Yes, to some extent it does but the overdose of adrenaline tends to mask those kinds of feelings pretty well. It feels like it would to fall off a big ladder but it just keeps going....
@superdonyoungy --- If you mean skydive gear well technically you could with the right setup but I really would not want to. BASE gear for BASE jumps for me, always...
@furu4e -- Start with skydiving and cross training sports like paragliding. Once you get really good at flying fabric in all sorts of conditions and landing areas you will be well on your way. :-)
hey moon dood THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO ON THE NET ive posted it all over the shot, it is what has inspired me to book my first aff, target to jump Kjerag 2yrs hopefully lol realisticly longer i suppose, once ive aquired skylicense maybe i could jump with yu guys.
@WingsuitFlier Around here we go out to the mountains and hike/climb and look for suitable exit points. The jumps I have done around Europe are just really well known spots that are legal and easily accessible.
@wintersnowboard-- Height, access, hazards and landing areas are kind of the main assessments. For heights up to 300 meters or so (1,000ft.) a laser range finder is quite useful. For cliffs bigger than that, timing rock drops is fairly accurate.
That is a complicated question with too many variables to really answer. The risks are obviously much higher than say skydiving, but it is possible to jump a long time without serious injury given the right combination of skills and good judgement.
'fishysbeat' 5% chance of dying 95% chance of serious injury is bout the most accurate figure ive read. Read this page in full if your considering it. I mean come on ur throwing urself of a 1km high cliff.

@MoonUnitAlpha i just skydove, i doubt il ever base jump, but how do u determine where a good and/or safe spot is?

@MoonUnitAlpha gotchya what about how do you tell when to pull the chute on a base jump?
wintersnowboard 1 year ago
just out of curiosity.. how long does it take to get back up? ITS FUCKING BEAUTIFUL!
2hisk0 3 years ago
From the trail head to that exit takes me about 1 hour 45 mins if I push hard. Some people who are in great shape can do it in under and hour.
It's worth the sweat.... :-)
MoonUnitAlpha 3 years ago
ohh hell yea thats worth the sweat.. but im still 15 and wingsuiting is like for people with 500 + jumps :/ base jumping is really cool too.
umm if u have ever been skydiving, how much does it cost. for a season?
2hisk0 3 years ago
what are the chances of dying?
