Out of all the luxury line of makeup that I've seen, Guerlain seems to be at the top of the top.

Gosh... after seeing this video, even Bobbi Brown and MAC does not seem like an upscale brand.

hey. great video.

i´m from germany, but i have relatives in russian. i love this collection and i wish i had all of these products, but i could only afford the Volga Princess Eye and Lip Palette. the eyeshodows are so beautiful. i love it. but i don´t get on with the lips. the coulors don´t last on my lips.

Thanks! I adore that palette. The lip colors are definitely more on the sheer side with almost a balm finish so I can see how they wouldn't last that long. They don't last terribly long for me either. But I have a terrible habit of licking my lips so most lip color is short-lived for me. :)

I got the foundation and powder. Aaaamaaazing stuffs! and I saw all your makeup videos, and i think you looked your very best with this makeup line. so subtle and elegant.  and can i say that you are one very fashionable lady, i adore your attitude! and he is the best looking makeup artist EVER! lol

I really think that the makeup companys shouldnt put eyeshadows and lipsticks in the same compacts; the eyeshadow gets into the lipstick and it makes it look nasty.

Yes, that definitely happens most of the time. But I haven't had a problem with that with this compact, because they kept the shadows and lipsticks far apart. They also included a little piece of plastic that stays in place well so the powder doesn't migrate down to the lipsticks. They seemed to have thought this compact through better than most companies.

So true! When people say you can get the same thing at the drugstore, I just laugh. I think there is some good stuff at the drugstore. But a lot of the high end stuff really is so much better.

this isn't meant to be negative towards other drug store brands, but when my mom began letting me wear more makeup, even just messing with it, she took me to the clinique counter. She had some bad experiences with drugstore makeup and we have sensitive skin. I still use clinique for just about everything and i mix other drugstore products (lips and eye) into it.

that way i am able to keep my good skin and experiment with the good quality things i do find at the drugstore.

That's definitely a good way to go, especially if you want to try something trendy. No need to spend a lot of money on something you may only wear a few times. And if the budget's tight, I turn to Physician's Formula, Neutrogena, and Almay. I've had pretty good luck with those lines.

That palette (Volga Princess) he used on you is huge! I went to look at it in store today and it was almost the size of my head. The colours of the collection are gorgous though, if that Volga palette had been the size of the quad shadows I would have bought it in a heartbeat. The MA did a wonderful job with your makeover, all of the products are gorgeous!!
