Godsmack is really talented, their whole band is really musically inclined. Metallica is definitely the best metal band out there, and they always will be. LoG doesnt come close to either actually because they dont put on a great show and they dont have a stage presence. When i went to see them open for Metallica they were terrible, I would much rather see Godsmack open for Metallica then LoG

4:40 - 4:50 I went to a Metallica concert in which Godsmack opened the did a drum solo set like this. Sully missed his stick at the concert I went to and played the drum set with his hand for a few beats then grabbed another stick. You could hear the hand difference a little, but man, I bet sully could bongo a drum set and have it sound equally impressive.

Funny, because Lamb of God got their butts handed to them when they opened for Metallica. You couldn't hear a word the guy was saying. Lars' kick drum on its own was louder than the entire band of LoG. No metal band in existence can out-perform Metallica, but Godsmack does a hell of a job. At least they put on a show rather than just playing their songs without energy like LoG.

LOG actually plays thier instruments to the point where there isn't a whole lot of room for show-offs, but they don't need to because anybody that appreciates metal knows that they are one of the best. you wanna see a show go to your local theater... you wanna see pure american metal at its finest, see Lamb of God!
