I like this guy. I'm not really sure as if this plan is feasable since the federal reserve banks are managed by private banks. Couldn't that lead to some conflict of interest both literally and figuratively speaking? Anyhow, the guy is sincere and I love the fact that he runs. It's good for the recuperation from the Bush Cheney terror-terror reign to have a ballot with Abdul K. Hassan on it.

@manuelroberto93 The Natural Born Clause is only one part of the Constitution - other parts such as the Fifth Amendment as interpreted by the Supreme Court prohibit national origin discrimination - the type of discrimination in the Natural Born Clause. I have asked the courts to resolve this constitutional conflict and I beleive they will choose equality over discrimination - a choice they have consistently made in the last sixty years. US has been increasing taxes? that is ridiculous, the tax ceiling for corporations has been more than halved since the 60's (80%)... So to me a first step to a solution is to go back from Reagan/Thatcher neo-liberalism to the 60's regulated and taxed free market system (as we all know life was so much easier for the working people back then). As to campaign positions, my main focus is the debt and deficit because unless we fix our finances, we cannot fix any of our other problems including the need for world peace. I think I would bring a different dynamic to the Presidency, which along with many other things I bring, would make world peace a lot easier to attain.

The Fed is something Congress created to handle the amount of money in our economy. This means the Fed can print money as well as take it out of circulation. If we just "borrow" money from the Fed, we are just printing more money leading to inflation.

Currently, the commercial banks borrow lots of printed money from the Federal Reserve without inflation - I think the government should have the same right. A lot of folks simply repeat inflation ideas from decades ago without updating their thinking in light of economic changes and a huge decline in wealth and spending power. The current ideas have bankrupted us - my plan is the way out.

Sorry Abul, but you really have no chance. Your plan for purchasing debt is difficult to follow. Where do you get your statistics from? 20 Trillion saved from low interest rates in 20 years? Your better off supporting a candidate like Ron Paul.

@lodziana666 - I think Ron Paul has introduced a bill to retire the over 1 trillion in debt the Federal Reserve purchased from the Treasury - so he has already signed on to step 3 of my plan - and the FR has carried out my plan on a small scale (in lending us over 1 trillion dollars) which will likely increase because it is the only way out. If you add the interest payments and the projected growth in those payments for each of the next 20 years, the amount could exceed 20 trillion dollars.

I am an 18 year old Lebanese American, and I have a deep interest in politics and in the USA, but when it comes to the economic plan, the best way, in my opinion, is to give Washington a time out and cut taxes in many diff areas to stimulate the economy.
