I would also like to point out that the person that she is singing about is not talking about an Angel. I understand why people loathe this song. I really do. But fuck if her voice isn't achingly and hauntingly emotive. I am a dude and a music snob and I have no issues in admitting that this is to me one of the most beautiful songs out there.

Growing up you always think youre parents are gonna be there forever, when you get married, when you have kids, well my mom didn't even get to see her baby graduate high school. Respect your parents and loved ones, lifes too short. RIP mom , i know you love it up there, you were always bright and shining , I miss your beautiful face , your beautiful smile.

my darling husband was killed in a motorbike accident on sunday 6th november 2011 and this is one of the songs I am going to have played at his dear funeral I just hope our young boys and myself can bear the pain of never seeing him ever again, does this pain ever heal :-(((

angels aren't weak like these tones make them out to be. they are miserably powerful beings that must, because of all their judgment (just or not, for the sake of EQUALITY and as they say "BALANCE"), go to hell and get a taste of their own medicine. INFINITELY WORSE than what they put me through!

Honestly, this is an arrogant thing to say. Just to remind you, you have never met an Angel yourself so keep your opinions as an opinion, not a fact. I would also like to point out that the person that she is singing about is not talking about an Angel. It's talking about someone who was in an accident who died and the angel took them - "You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie , You’re in the arms of the angel, May you find some comfort there".
