I dont think the USA's "aid" is needed anywhere in the world. If you analyze the reason that the United States is in any other country, it is to enslave them into unpayable loans from the world bank.. defaulting in paying back the loan results in taking the country's natural resources. Think about that. Did you really think the US government genuinely wants to "help" other countries financially without having their interest vested in something?

I understand your point about withdrawing from some countries more slowly because at one time i held similar viewpoint. However, I would like to point out that when making that argument, you actually concede to those who want to be in those countries that they are correct. In essence, we're they're in the first place because they "need" us. Who decides who needs us? What is the standard that needs to be met to determine that a country "needs" us to force a military presence on their land?
I personally think Afghanistan needs as much USA influence as it can get. How many countries do you know allow men to rape women and put the women in jail for it?
